UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season

It's interesting to see the journey from Napoli in 2 different competitions, Serie A and the Champions League. With them doing well in Serie A and even some time away from claiming the title, in the Champions League they did well and so we can see them in this stage now. They are one club that cannot be underestimated now. Even though there are other clubs that are more favourites, with what Napoli is showing now they are a club that will surprise many people. They are now a solid team, it is their capital to talk more in the Champions League this season.

It's safe to say Napoli will seal the Serie A title this season, but I really hope Milan can complete their difficult mission against Napoli in the quarter-finals. In the end I agree that Milan are not the favorites for the semi-finals, but at least I don't expect Milan to become a hotbed for Napoli's goals at their current level.

It's not easy to guess who will qualify even though Napoli are the best Serie A team at this stage. Stefano Pioli is responsible for the team's performance and the preparation of the right strategy even though Milan are down in their last 3 matches in Serie A. The first leg will be held at home to Milan, this must be maximized so that the plan runs smoothly.

Interestingly AC Milan and Napoli will compete in Serie A 10 days before their match in the Champions League. This will be a match that will at least describe them in the Champions League match later. Indeed, on the Champions League stage, we cannot deny AC Milan's experience, but their opponents now are from Serie A, who certainly know very well how their game looks. For now it's not wrong for us to say that Napoli is ahead of AC Milan in the Champions League.

But to go to the semi-finals, Manchester City must beat Bayern Munich.  But as I said it is not so easy. Bayan Munich is not a team to lose so easily. But Bayer Munich have a chance against Manchester City. Because of the attacking game they have played so far, they can expect a win against Manchester City. But I prefer Bayern Munich against Manchester City.

Of course for any of the teams to progress to the semifinal they have to win the tie on aggregate. Imo, the game is fairly even, the two sides are world class teams, with very passionate managers who are obsessed with winning. It is a 50/50 game, no team looks to be favorite and no one is definitely an underdog, but personally i support City to go on and defeat Bayern Munich, they are my pick to win the CL this season, and that's exactly why i am backing them strongly in this game and also to go all the way.

I agree now the chances of Bayern Munich and Manchester City are 50/50. We know their strengths and it's a very difficult assessment for me to say who will go to the semifinals. Pep Guardiola is no stranger to Bayern Munich, because he is a former coach who has coached the German club, he probably doesn't have to grope anymore when he meets a German club. Now Bayern Munich is in the hands of a new coach and that makes the job not easy, because he has to adapt first, and the question is whether he can quickly understand Bayern Munich or vice versa.

Napoli have shown good form, good performances and determination but I think it is still early to rank them as favourites, maybe if they can win their way to the semi finals then I can agree and rate them as favourites because until now I still have a bit of doubt they can win it this year.

It is not going to be as easy as the league, but looking at how Milan is doing at the league and looking at how Napoli has been doing the league, they know how they play, and they are aware of each other a lot, but Napoli should be easily winning this match up if all goes according to the plan.

Obviously this is football and we have seen plenty of times worse teams beating bigger teams, and Napoli could lose but I feel like that is not this year. I feel like there is a serious chance that Napoli will be in the finals and since finals are just a single game as well, they may play unexpectedly well this season and even win the whole thing, they look that good.

For this season, Napoli progress in UCL and Serie A has been quite impressive in their appearance. Meeting Ac milan in the Champions league these two teams already understand each other very well in their game scheme. In terms of strength, Napoli has a stronger squad depth for this season, which makes Napoli more favored to win the match against Ac milan.

Ac milan performance in serie is quite different this season because they relatively played well against their opponents in the ucl like when they beat tottenham in the round of 16 where the favorites to win in that match were more favorites for tottenham but in reality ac milan able provide good fight in first leg to second leg. By reaching the quarter-finals, I'm sure the motivation for the AC Milan team is excited enough to play better in the match against Napoli.

It would be a huge stunt if Real Madrid won the Cl again. They have now won the title no less than 4 times in the past 10 years. That's really a lot. And City not even once. Everyone would like to see Napoli with the cup at the end of the season, they play the best football and make the most impression.

Because Chelsea are in no condition to hit them really hard and make big difficulties now. It is the truth that Chelsea are playing stronger in the Champions League. Bayern Munich now has a new coach, will this affect their performance? Tuchel is a top coach, he has handled several teams that played in the UCL and even brought his team to a championship with Chelsea.

And now it's a big challenge, especially Manchester City, which is always in the top spot, but I believe this has to be balanced because both teams have great abilities in terms of their own players and coaches.
It's still hard to say who will win on that aggregate score but it will be another great encounter for them in the quarter-finals.

It is an unpredictable match between these two clubs because both of them are strong and are performing well in their domestic leagues. I think Bayern might win Manchester city due to their commitment in their UCL matches.

Manchester city lack the fighting spirit when it comes to this quarter final rounds on to the final,they are always losing out. I hope this time it will be different for Manchester city because they need to do better than just this round.

I respectfully disagree with you on several points because I do not believe that Napoli will put in less effort during this match and risk injuries before their more important Champions League match. Napoli is currently at the top of the Serie A standings with their best performance and 19 point lead over the second place team which is more than enough to secure the championship title this year. However, I believe that every match is important for maintaining their momentum and competitive levl, and as a professional football team, they will not take any game lightly but with less important players.
Furthermore, while losing a player like Osimhen due to injury would be a setback I think Napoli will change their gameplay by playing overly cautious football. It is possible that they may rotate some players to avoid fatigue or give other squad members a chance to prove themselves but I don't believe they would deliberately underperform in the meantime.
On the other hand AC Milan is likely to put in maximum effort to win both matches, as they are close to the second spot in the Serie A standings and also have a chance to reach the semifinals or even finals of the Champions League. But after all Italian teams are more unpredictable than other champions since every team has its strengths and weaknesses and predicting the outcome of any football match is always tricky.

Napoli's condition of avoiding being the favorite club is a real advantage for them this season because indeed with this the possibility that they will be in the final is clearly very high considering that currently their bracket is only filled by other Serie A clubs Inter and Milan and one more Benfica. Yes it would, especially on a personal note; Pep gets another opportunity to return to the Allianz Arena and face his former employers Bayern Munich, a team with which he earned quite a lot of success, and for Thomas Tuchel, after just recently being sacked by an English club Chelsea, he faces an English club so soon after he landed himself a new job, and he also has a chance to face his own former employers, but that's of course if his current team Bayern Munich defeat City in the tie, and Chelsea are able to eliminate Real Madrid in their own QF tie.

Having said that, everything is shaping up to be quite dramatic and it is the players that would have to settle it on the pitch in 180 minutes, across two legs. Personally i think this is City's year, i can just feel it, thus i think they would eliminate every opponent that's put in front of them, it is just my feeling, but we'd see how correct i'd be in a couple of weeks and months, i would not mind bookmarking this.

Tuchel has never won EPL. He is having good experience in UCL but not in EPL. Chelsea was winning its last EPl on 2018. let's give tuchel some times. Tuchel has not yet faced the first match in the bundesliga. People are always judging even before the first match has started.

I don't know why people are always thinking like that. As bavarian and im very optimistic about the result that will be delivered by tuchel. The win against dortmund will be boosting mentality from all of players in bayern

He joined Chelsea only a few months after bringing PSG to a Champions League final but failed under feet of Bayern Munich. PSG sacked him and Chelsea hired him but see, he won a Champions League with Chelsea with a goal from Kai Harvertz. Now Bayern Munich hoped that he will repeat it with them as an alternative coach who will win another Champions League.

Tuchel did good management at Mainz, Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea even he did not won too many titles with them. At Dortmund, they simply failed under a giant Bayern Munich, that is reasonable. In PSG, many coaches failed with them in Champions League not only Tuchel but he failed in the only Champions League final they have.

Tuchel has never won EPL. He is having good experience in UCL but not in EPL. Chelsea was winning its last EPl on 2018.

Tuchel did not have much experience in Premier League as he joined them in winter on 26 January 2021 and a few months later he was fired by Chelsea on 7 September 2022. With that limited time, he did not have enough experience with Premier League.

Thomas tuchel is an experienced coach and actually a very reliable coach. even when he was at Chelsea he donated many trophies to Chelsea. one of them is the champions league trophy. so I think it doesn't take much time for Tuchel to adapt to the Bayern Munich team. and I'm pretty sure he also has a lot to know about the opponent Bayern will face in the UCL quarter-finals, namely Man City. and it's true that there is still time for Thomas Tuchel to adjust the strategy he made to apply to Bayern.

I think it is an advantage for Manchester city to face Bayer Munich because they suddenly replaced the coach.
Bayern Munich players and coaches certainly have to adjust their strategy in terms of the game.
But in the future I agree with you that Tuchel will be able to revive Bayern Munich's game, so as to be able to win more trophies, it does not rule out that Bayer Munchen will get a league title next season, because Tuchel is one of the coaches who has had many achievements.
