I don't think Napoli should be considered favorites to win so soon. Of course this time they are in very good form and deserve to reach the final. It cannot be said that if luck is good, they can win the Champions League by winning the final as well. On the other hand, we will never leave Bayern Munich and Real Madrid behind. Napoli, Real Madrid, and Manchester City are unlikely teams to win the title. Also, we are neglecting. Benfica has been performing exceptionally well in the Champions League this season.

There's got to be a mistake somewhere, do you mean 'likely', because tbh City and Real Madrid are the favorites for the title, and one can also include Bayern Munich in that list, though personally i think it is City's year. Benfica are a great side and they have a huge chance of playing in the final this season, they just have to defeat Inter Milan, and eliminate the winner between Napoli v AC Milan, it is very much achievable, but i am afraid, they can't win the CL even if they make it to the final.

Now with conditions like this actually for Madrid they just have to focus on the Champions League so they can bring back this trophy because indeed with the current domestic league which is bad it is clear that this is very unprofitable for them and we all also know for sure that their position in La Liga unprofitable because it lags far enough. I agree with this, every competition they play gets different results, we can't assume it's all the same although we definitely consider this with what they do in the domestic league. There are good teams in the domestic league, but they failed in the Champions League. Like Barcelona for example, this season they are very good in La Liga but they can't do much in the Champions League even in the Europa League. So each competition can produce very different results for each team.

You are not alone with this confusion. Many of us find it difficult to make a choice, but this is the excitement of football by seeing 2 big clubs, almost the same strength and playing style, both are considered dangerous. From the point of view of each coach, in my opinion, they already have familiar experience in the Champions League. So it's no wonder people will choose to be in the middle and don't dare to bet. But if I have to choose 1 team between Manchester City or Bayern Munich, I prefer Bayern Munich. I agree with this, every competition they play gets different results, we can't assume it's all the same although we definitely consider this with what they do in the domestic league. A good performance in the domestic league does not guarantee success in the Champions League. While PSG and Barcelona dominate the domestic league, they do not fare well in the Champions League. On the other hand, none of Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan or Chelsea is in the top position in the domestic league. Among the Champions League teams, Napoli and Benfica teams have been able to continue to perform consistently well in the domestic league and the Champions League. The game between Manchester City and Bayern Munich is going to be very a difficult game,  is even going to be more difficult for Manchester City because Bayern Munich have changed there coach, Bayern Munich are going to make life really difficult for Manchester City because the coach they signed has played in the English premier League before and he has a very good record against Manchester City, but I still believe Manchester City will make it through to the next round, so is a win win for the Manchester City side.

On the other hand, no matter who plays against Milan, I would have considered it a close game or easy to beat, Milan has been terrible of late and I think it would be very hard for them to beat any team in UCL in a 2 game stretch. Inter would probably be the only other one and Benfica too, rest would easily beat them.

Napoli is way too good for Milan to even have a competition and I think it is important to realize that soon if you want to bet on this game. Anyone who will wager on Milan to win will end up with a big risk on their lap. I hope for everyone to win but someone has to lose and Milan will be the one without a doubt if you watched them lately.

I'm also not looking down on Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Benfica or Milan, but I think it's good to expect the top 4 teams above to qualify for the semi-finals based on the odds.

Bayern Munich is not the club it used to be in terms of dominance of the German league. Thomas Tuchel is not a magician, hence I am not expecting him to get an instant result in Bayern Munich. Manchester City has the advantage in this match because it will take sometime for the new coach to stabilize the team. I expect the Bayern team to improve with time because Tuchel needs understand the team. The match between these two teams is unpredictable City might win the first leg but the second leg will be the real battle. Thia match will be a real thriller and a must watch.

One interesting about the Real Madrid and Chelsea UEFA Champions League quarter final encounter is that the two teams are almost out of the race to win their respective leagues. While Real Madrid is 12 points behind their league leaders Barcelona, Chelsea on the  other hand are 10th in their own league table standings.

So they know that their only chance of winning a major trophy this season is to try as much as possible and win the Champions League.
