You are right,due their present form and also their performance in the round of 16. We should come into conclusion because sometimes luck can help one of these teams to qualify to the semifinals. I don't think if they continue with their poor performance it will be possible for luck to be on their side. Chelsea do have some little luck when it comes to UCL,we could see that in their last match against Dortmund but I don't think if Chelsea will be able to win Real Madrid and qualify to the semifinals. Although Chelsea players improve their mentality, I am not sure they will win against Real Madrid. Real Madrid squad quality is clearly better than Chelsea squad. They also have a better coach, Ancelotti is an experienced coach for UCL and he often wins the trophy. It is very different with Chelsea coach who has too many problems currently.

We are never contenders until we win the title. In 2021, were we seen as title contenders? No. Nobody usually believe us that we can  it until we do it. People are acting like Real Madrid can't be defeated and they're forgetting that out of our last 4 encounters with Real Madrid, we have won twice and drew one. We won then the last time we meet so it won't be difficult to replicate that success. We might be playing badly but that's in the premier league and not the champions league. We actually have a decent record in the champions league this season even though we are in the worst form we have ever been in the last 20years.

Even though we lose against Real Madrid, it won't be without a fight. We'll surely make them work for it and if they think they can performs those comeback they did in 2022 to win the premier league giants to lift the trophy, I'm sorry to disappoint the fans as that won't be happening this season. If things had gone the way you say, they would not have qualified from the group stage, beat unbeaten Dortmund, and advanced to the quarter finals, and if you believe those games are won by chance, what makes you think the Real Madrid game will be different? It is not a matter of losing faith in Chelsea. This is a matter of facing the reality, being able to eliminate Borussia Dortmund does not mean that Chelsea is fit enough to eliminate Real Madrid. Can you compare the performance of Borussia Dortmund to that of Real Madrid this season in the Champions League? Obviously, you cannot compare that.
