Looking at the way they play in their league, it's very hard to say that they can beat Real Madrid. The fact is this Real Madrid is far better than Chelsea either before or currently. I hope that you know the challenges and critical condition that Chelsea is facing before sacking Potter. I'm talking about some hardliners who have ignored Chelsea's chances in the Champions League, they even optimistically said Chelsea would really fail in the Champions League before playing. Basically that's not true because both teams have the same chance to qualify for the semifinals even though Real Madrid are the favourites. these are two different facts for Chelsea this season because Chelsea performed quite well in the Champions league but in the Epl they were unable to compete at the top of the standings because of the defeat after defeat they received. Chelsea will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals. Now, this is where we will see Chelsea strength. We will see how strong they are this season after the opponent that was met in the draw was Real Madrid.

That is now all in the past, as the team has learned from their mistakes. We would have heard about Graham Potter's dismissal during Abramovich's time in charge as Chelsea owner; it was a one-man decision back then, but it is not in this case. I didn't want Graham to leave the club in this way; he was a fantastic coach before joining the team. Maybe he didn't have what it takes to coach a large team yet, but I wish him the best of luck. Let's see what Frank Lampard has to offer before the season ends.

Sure, Chelsea won't reach the current stage/round if they are a weak team. Don't forget that Chelsea is the leader of group E on the group stage. It proves that Chelsea is a strong team.

However, if we compare the squad quality and coach quality, Real Madrid is still better than Chelsea. Real Madrid also has a better experience and achievements in UCL. I never underestimate Chelsea squad, but I'm sure that Real Madrid will have a bigger chance to qualify for the next round. I even predict that Real Madrid will play in the final round.

these are two different facts for Chelsea this season because Chelsea performed quite well in the Champions league but in the Epl they were unable to compete at the top of the standings because of the defeat after defeat they received. Chelsea will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals. Now, this is where we will see Chelsea strength. We will see how strong they are this season after the opponent that was met in the draw was Real Madrid.

I also agree with your point where the Real Madrid vs Chelsea match is more likely that Real Madrid will come out victorious and qualify for the semifinals. The depth of Real Madrid squad is better than Chelsea this season and even Benzema quality cannot be doubted as a really good sticker on Real Madrid front lines.

I wouldn't like to be Centimental, Chelsea this season has performed badly despite its position in the champions league, their performance was far below expectations.  Difficult win throughout the group stage, very unlike usual.
I will not say chelsea have given up on winning a title this season,  but I'm afraid that the club bears very little hope of making it through the semi final stage. I say this mostly because I don't see chelsea defeating the rest of the remnant giant teams left In the UCL. If anyone should rate by performance, All are far better than them.

That is now all in the past, as the team has learned from their mistakes. We would have heard about Graham Potter's dismissal during Abramovich's time in charge as Chelsea owner; it was a one-man decision back then, but it is not in this case. I didn't want Graham to leave the club in this way; he was a fantastic coach before joining the team. Maybe he didn't have what it takes to coach a large team yet, but I wish him the best of luck. Let's see what Frank Lampard has to offer before the season ends.

The Chelsea management led by Todd Boehly was really patient with Graham Potter. He was given all the necessary things he needed such as quality players and freedom to coordinate the team but he failed to prove that he could perform his task effectively. Roman Abramovich wouldn't have endured this poor performance for a long time, Potter would have gone home many months ago. The task on Lampard now is very huge. He needs to boast the confidence of the team and gain the players' respect. I hope his presence will make players such as Mason Mount and other players sign new contracts and remain in Chelsea. Their biggest boast will be if they can beat Real Madrid.
