Yes, that was of course a surprising result for me and many people because previously Inter Milan was not favored in the 1st leg match, moreover Benfica also acted as the host. Another reason the Nerazzurri are not favored is because they are struggling in the domestic league. However, even though they didn't dominate, Inter were able to play very effectively. Especially in the second half, Inzaghi started to improve his team's game. This victory is of course an important capital for Simone Inzaghi's squad in facing the 2nd leg match which will be played at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Well everyone seems a little surprised by Inter Milan's victory in that match. but I was much more surprised by the result of the match Manchester City vs Bayern. I think the strategy that Tuchel implemented against Manchester City did not work well at all. and as a result Bayern had to accept a crushing defeat without being able to reply to a single goal. and what annoyed me a bit was that the Bayern defenders really made a lot of mistakes. but Bayern are a little lucky to have a reliable goalkeeper like Sommer. Sommer made many saves in the match. if it wasn't for Sommer then I can see Bayern conceding more goals. The cross strategy of the Manchester City players was truly extraordinary in this match. and I really appreciate Haaland in this fight. he contributed a lot to Manchester city's victory in that match. Anyone that bet against Milan, they likely did so to simply waste their money. I had faith in Milan's ability to score in their match, as they have a history of being dominant. While Benfica may have had some impressive goals against Club Brugge, Milan's track record makes them a formidable opponent. Milan's next step is to either draw or win their second match at Stadio, whenever Benfica comes to visit for an away match.

Victor Osimhen, Giovanni Simeone and Giacomo Raspadori are all still recovering from their injuries. And I think Napoli without Osimhen on the pitch will really struggle. Maybe one of the players that Napoli can rely on right now to break into Milan's goal is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. but still I can't expect much for Napoli in this match without Osimhen.
