A day that was like a nightmare for Chelsea. In the first half their performance looked bad, the constant pressure exerted by Real Madrid renders Chelsea incapable of such action. In the second half, it got even worse, the red card received by Chilwell made Chelsea even more hopeless. Fortunately, Real Madrid was only able to add one goal, because of so many good opportunities that Real Madrid had failed to become goals.

Real Madrid is not a team that posses games or constantly pressure their opponent every time but they were able to do both things to Chelsea, it shows how bad Chelsea was. Not like I was expecting anything different from Chelsea but this was even below my expectation. Chelsea was able to force only one good save from Courtois, and that was early on in the first half from Joao Felix.
Kepa tried his best actually. The second goal scored by Asensio shows the lack of concentration by Chelsea. They were all in and around the box but they just allowed Asensio space to shoot. The marking was poor since before the ball got to Vinicuis.
Like I've always said, you can't be a serious club that wants to win the champions league and hire Lampard as your coach. They were lucky Madrid was in that mood today, it should have been more than 2 goals.

If Osimhen recovers by that match they might have a chance. Didnt expect Napoli to lose two games in a row against Milan in such a small period. Milan played good today and if Napoli wants them to beat them they will need to play like they played the entire season. But still Milan will have a heavy away game

It's not clear how long it takes from osimhen to recover from his injury. Losing 1 - 0 in san siro can be considered as an outstanding achievement. Napoli will have a chance to come back again in the future. Even chelsea's loss is less compared with bayern against manchester city. The quality of defenders that owned by chelsea is far better compared with bayern, even though chelsea had horrible attacking lines at this moment in EPL. The thing that makes me think impossible for chelsea to come back is about how bad the attacking line of chelsea right now.

I don't even know how can chelsea make more than 2 goals against real madrid in stamford bridge. it will be good if ben chilwell was not getting a red card. The problem is the red card of ben chilwell was making chelsea lose another goal against real madrid.
Ben chilwell was doing an unnecessary thing for sure.These results are unexpected for me to see that about so many players were playing away without even making a single goal.

Chelsea received a red card and now i think its just a matter of how many more goals they can concede. Real Madrid has a win in the bag but they need more goals to seal this duel so that they dont give a chance in the rematch. Chelsea needs to hold on until the end and at least lose by one goal.

Real Madrid are most likely to win this first leg match even though they only have a 1-0 lead over Chelsea. Real Madrid had the numerical advantage after Ben Chilwell was sent off for fouling Rodrygo, but the game was still quite fierce between the two.

Chelsea had a lot of problems building up the attack because of Real Madrid's defense and covering it well. It is difficult for Chelsea to find goals and will likely accept defeat for the remaining minutes.

The Real Madrid team is now leading 2-0. And I don't see any chance of losing this match. Because Chelsea's performance is very poor today. Benzema scored the first goal of the match. And Marco Asensio scored the second goal from Vini's pass. Real Madrid is doing great. So far Madrid has had a total of 15 shots, surprisingly 10 of which were on target. On the other hand, Chelsea made only 5 shots. The performance of Chelsea's attacking players was very poor today.

Napoli is likely to lose against AC Milan. Napoli's performance is not weak. However, Milan is playing completely defensive so Napoli's attacking players are not able to break Milan's defense. Milan now lead 1-0. And it looks like AC Milan will win the match 1-0

Napoli's performance in Serie A and the gap they have with other teams could be a good reason to say they can easily beat AC Milan today but they don't have Osimhen again in this game which affected the team's performance and they are playing on San Siro stadium where Ac Milan can have more benefits, but I guess Napoli have a good chance to beat AC Milan in the second leg.

After AC Milan won Napoli in their domestic league 4-0. I knew it that AC Milan will also win today's match. The reason is that Oshimen who is their hit man has injury and after I confirmed that he will not be playing in today's match, I considered the today's match a lost for Napoli

There will be hope for Napoli in San siro because Oshimen will be playing the match and the goal aggregate is just s1-0, this give a good welcome back for Napoli. If Napoli can score more goals in San siro,this means that they will qualify to the semifinals.

My surprise in the two matches played today was that in both matches,there was a red card given to the losing clubs.

I agree, Chelsea's squad has more potential,

Chelsea are playing without a striker, with Rahim Sterling and Felix in front they have been very ineffective, as both of them are running out of position because it is not where they usually play in. With the Red cars now to Ben Chilwell, Chelsea have more problems on their hand. If they cannot win they should at least try not concede Many goals so they have  a chance in the return leg at Stamford bridge. Haverts needs to play in this game.

As I was expecting Chelsea couldn't surprise us even with their new coach Lampard who can change the tactic of this team but the problem about Chslea is not going to be solved just by replacing the coach they had a bad performance during this season and this bad performance had a negative effect on the team atmosphere, based on the recent matches we saw from Chelsea Real Madrid could even win the game by scoring more goals against this team.

I think from the return match should not be expected a different result, because it was obvious even before the match. The fact is that the whole season the English have been very bad, it's worth watching only the last 5 matches... The fact that they got to this stage of the Champions League is already great. Anyway, we'll see what happens in the return match, although I do not believe in change...

Without Osimhen, Napoli is weak opponent for Milan. It is proven that Milan managed to beat Napoli in two consecutive matches, it is a great thing for Milan so far. So maybe one assumption is right, even though Napoli are really favorites in the Champions League this season, in fact they are not completely safe from non-favorite opponents.

I was sure that AC Milan was going to win against Napoli in tonight's match even though it was a narrow escape for AC Milan compared to Resl Madrid's match against Chelsea which won with 2 goals, a lot of speculations and analysis went forth before the beginning of the match how Chelsae and Napoli both have chances to put strong opposition.

But the outcome of both matches has proven otherwise and the winning trend went to Real Madrid who score a higher goal in their match compared to AC Milan who still ssstruggles townsite just a goal.

It seems difficult for Chelsea to get back to form. So obviously Madrid will qualify at any cost and in Leg 2 Chelsea will have a hard time. Another game for Napoli, which I didn't expect to lose by a narrow margin. However, in Leg 2 it is still wide open for Napoli to restore its position if it can perform even better. Statistically, in this match, Napoli excelled in ball possession and had more shots on target. People think AC Milan is a weak team in Italia Sería A and therefore it should be weak in the UCL as well but, they will be absolutely surprised if AC Milan drop Napoli out of UCL. I saw them as guaranteed for the finals because they are already destroying Milan and Inter on the league and they should be the better team here as well. I agree that they lost their games against Inter and Milan this year if I am not wrong, or at least recently and maybe that is telling us something about this issue but the reality is that they have built a better team this year and should be doing far better. I have no idea why they lost, they should be better and I am hoping that they will do better on the second game. I believe that Real Madrid will be able to defeat Chelsea in this first leg, and also in the second leg because of Chelsea's performance so far. they are not as strong as in some previous seasons. Their performance in EPL is very bad and we know about it. But for Napoli, their defeat against Milan in their previous match also shows that Napoli's performance decreased because of the absence of their striker.

....However, in Leg 2 it is still wide open for Napoli to restore its position if it can perform even better. Statistically, in this match, Napoli excelled in ball possession and had more shots on target. It was really very unfortunate when Napoli had to lose 0 - 1 in this first leg. But luckily, the aggregate is still 0 - 1 so this still doesn't rule out the possibility for Napoli to reply in the second leg later. Actually, Napoli was already quite good in terms of ball possession, but this is not enough if it is only good statistically. Milan has stronger tactics in attack and their effectiveness is at least higher than Napoli's. Oshimen is still absent in this match and this really affects Napoli's performance, especially on the front line or attack, which has greatly reduced strength and accuracy.

Guilty a charged. Prior to this game, majority of those of us that comment here would jot have imagined or seen AC Milan having any chance at winning but, that was exactly what happened. Napoli wasn't muchnof  challenge for AC Milan as they squarely won the game. We still do think its due to the absence of Osimen but again, Napoli made things worst by getting a red card.

Napoli had 2 decent chances during the added time, it was there best time to get even but, the goalkeeper was rightly placed to get his hands on the ball and sent it flying over the bar. No much goal margin but, the first leg and advantage is done, the second leg is looked forward to.

Real Madrid didn't display their best. I was expecting much score line from this match but I'm surprised it ended in just two goals. I know it's because of chelsea midfield. Kanet, Enzo Fernandez and Kovasic seems to be chelsea's best midfield line up. but personally, I prefer mason mount in place of Kovasic so that there will be much support in attack. Had it been mason mount was featured in the start, Madrid wouldn't have much space since they will be doing more of the defending also.  But In all, I knew Madrid will be victorious in this first leg.

I expected more, bro. I assume Real Madrid will win with more than 2 goals, especially when 1 Chelsea player got a red card. But Real Madrid only can make 2 goals, no other goals anymore after Asensio added 1 goal in 2nd half. Although it is not a bad result, I think Real Madrid actually has the capability to score more goals.

The next match (2nd Leg) will be at Chelsea home (Stamford Bridge). Chelsea possibly changes their game/tactic, they should play more aggressively. Real Madrid should score 1 goal again in the first half to secure the ticket to the next round. If Chelsea can score 1 goal in the 1st half of 2nd Leg, I'm not sure Real Madrid will be easy to win the match.

Benzema was the first to score under 27 minutes with Vinicius Junior given out two assists for the goals scored, and from the shots on target, Real Madrid had 9 and Chelsea had only three. From the starting  of the game, I already knew that it was going to be a lost game for Chelsea. watching  the game seeing the expression on the faces of Chelsea  fans was just funny  after the second goal.

The Champions League really has a different atmosphere. AC has once again shown its European DNA and is also a team with a long history. The victory obtained tonight was the result of hard work and a sense of optimism from the Milan players. Previously, Milan was not so favored in this match, because considering their performance in Serie A, which was still inconsistent. A 1-0 advantage is also not completely safe for the Rossoneri, but if Pioli is able to maintain the fitness of his players, Milan will be able to maintain this victory in the second leg later.

I expect such a result because I know Napoli is not confident enough to withstand experienced AC Milan without their great man Victor Osimhen; Napoli lost to Milan in their last league match, but they still try as they were able to keep the goals under one.
I am confident Victor will return before the second leg, so Napoli will do everything in their power to defeat Milan at home as well.

Real Madrid beating Chelsea easily today is not surprising to me because before the game I had predicted them to win with a scoreline of 3:0 but it's quite unfortunate that they were unable to get the third goal that would have given me a cool cash for my bet. For the Napoli and AC Milan game, I think I agree with you, winning 1:0 at home against Napoli is not a guarantee winning for as Napoli can come back to beat them at home especially if their key striker is back from injury and ready to play.
