Juventus recorded hard a hard 1-0 win against sporting. Federico Ghatti's strike was enough to give Juventus the winning they needed against sporting. Juventus has now extended their unbeaten home record of the UEFA Europa League to 14 matches with a 1-0 win over  Sporting in the first leg of their quarter-final tie. Juvee who has never lost at home in the UEL started the game on a very good and brilliant note having knockout the current leader of the English premier league Arsenal out of the competition. Much was expected from sporting the visitors who played with so much confidence in the ball were able to put Juventus under pressure and juvee were unable to hold on to possession which made them look vulnerable at times against their Portuguese visitor. Juventus had to dig deep before eventually, it paid off with them winning the game.

I was expecting to see more from Juventus because the only hope they have is to achieve something in the champions league Juventus was also playing a home where they got more benefits compared to Sporting, but Sporting had much more opportunities in this game to score goals which can be dangerous for Juventus to face than in the second half, Juventus should be more careful in the second half against Sporting.

A 0 - 2 defeat is still a lucky result for Chelsea as it was not a best day of Real Madrid attacking players. In their better days, they can score more goals to Chelsea and nail their position in Champions League semi final before their second meeting at Stamford Bridge.

Quite happy with this result, but actually I want Real Madrid to win by three goals. Two goals is not too much difference. Their second leg will be played at Stamford Bridge. We must remember how Dortmund had to fail to enter the quarterfinals. They failed to win at Stamford bridge. Anceloti should understand that. I hope they are in good shape and ready without injury in the second leg. This is because of my hope that they can win the UCL and of course the Copa Del Rey. So they will have three trophies this season.

A Don Carlo seems to have understood things like this, because he is an experienced coach. He will not underestimate Chelsea, who have the conditions they are today. But still Chelsea can't improve their game that doesn't change at all, so I think Chelsea will still be eliminated later because I doubt how Chelsea's game is still not impressive in any match.
They've certainly had a difficult time since Tuchel's sacking and with Potter not bringing any better and also with Lampard I've had to say this is a little skeptical on my part so Chelsea just need a change of management.

We have to stop talking about Thomas Tuchel, he's now history or isn't he the same Thomas Tuchel that's bottling his job at Bayern Munich. Tuchel success at Chelsea didn't have everything to do with his coaching skills instead the players were determined to win and they won games. If Thomas Tuchel was that good as we're all saying, why hasn't he replicated same wins with Bayern Munich or won the champion league with other top clubs that he has managed. Let take Real Madrid as an example, it doesn't matter which coach is present but they'll always do well in the champions league because it's a culture on the club.

As for the game against Real Madrid, it was a disappointing loss and I'm still surprised we could play that badly against Real Madrid and I put all the blame on Frank Lampard. His selections were all wrong, we could have sealed the fate of that game in the first few minutes of the game as we were having chances after chances but didn't have anyone that could score in the team. The team lacked a striker and Chelsea need to resolved this crises by signing someone that'll be winning to play even though we don't get champions league football next season. I think if Kai Havertz would had started that game, we would had gotten something from that game. I haven't lost hope though, 2:0 isn't that hard of a result to comeback from to progress.

Tuchel was certainly doing a better job compared to Graham Porter. I know he is not currently doing a fabulous job with his current team. But it has only been like two weeks with his new team. So I think we should give him time. But at the same time, I also agree with @Brainboss that everyone should stop talking about Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel. It is history. Chelsea will have to think about what is in the future for them.

I understand that 2 - 0 is not hard to overcome. But that would be true for a team like Real Madrid. Not a team like Chelsea under the current situation.

It's absolutely a huge insult to Thomas Tuchel when we compare him to Frank Lampard and that I think isn't even cool for football fans. The problem and poor results that Chelsea is currently facing is the lack of patience from the new owner Todd Boehly in sacking Thomas Tuchel because of his poor start to the season and I think he did that because he wasn't at the club's heirarchy when Tuchel was appointed. Chelsea would've been serious contenders in the biggest available competitions if he had allowed Tuchel to remain as the manager and support Tuchel by spending the same huge amount of money Chelsea has spent this in the last two transfer windows on Tuchel's preferred players.

I don't think Don Carlo is the type of coach who likes to underestimate opponents, he will not underestimate Chelsea in the second leg match later even though Madrid won 2 - 0 in the first leg match yesterday, of course Madrid will still score goals because I know they will not play defensively, even though they have led with enough results, there are always surprises in football so you have to be vigilant about that even though Chelsea is still in poor performance, even in the domestic league Chelsea has experienced a drop in the rankings in the league standings and that is really sad.

Madrid as the defending champion certainly knows how to deal with their opponents in this UCL championship so I believe that Chelsea will not qualify for the next round, but Madrid must not be proud and remain consistent, Madrid will return to victory in the second leg meeting later to play at home chelsea.

I'm not sure Chelsea will be able to turn things around in the second leg later, Real Madrid is a team that is strong enough to focus on the Champions League. Nothing special was done by Lampard in the first leg. Chelsea will be an easy opponent for Real Madrid if Chelsea game like the first leg will provide a great opportunity for Real Madrid to steal victory at Stamford Bridge.

On the other hand, I believe that Real Madrid are already in one place in the semifinals because a 0-2 advantage would mean a lot to them and it would be difficult for Chelsea to do the same.

Manchester city also has a place in the semifinals as a 3-0 win convinced me to say that.

Chelsea's problem is that now they have to concentrate on the game against Brighton. Brighton are strong this season + they have a huge motivation to score points as they are in the European Cup zone and clearly do not want to leave it. Chelsea can't afford to lose or draw this home game as it will make another bottom break. Therefore, despite the fact that in the tournament sense this game is not important, Chelsea must play it to the maximum. And after that, they will play with Real Madrid, which already have a two-goal lead.

Despite Chelsea losing to Madrid in the quarter-finals  first leg. I don't see them losing to Brighton as well when they clash this weekend at Stanford Bridge Frank Lampard will want to put his best into that match as his first home game since he was reappointed as Chelsea's head coach while Brighton will looking to make something out of this knowing how badly inform is Chelsea at the moment they will be trying to close the gap and get even if it's a point from Chelsea. after losing to Tottenham I see both team drawing the match as they have both met five of the last seven competitive and non-competitive between the two has ended in a draw

Second League match between Manchester City vs Bayern Munich will be held at Allianz Arena stadium. In this stadium we have seen many records of Bayern Munich. However, since Manchester City are in great form, considering their form, this match may be a draw. However, Aggregate will keep Manchester City ahead

Inter 3:0 Benfica

It's clear that whether it's the first leg or the second leg, Real Madrid will continue to score the winning goal to ensure their step into the semifinals. On the other hand, maybe Chelsea is in poor form, but if Real Madrid make a few mistakes it can be a good opportunity for Chelsea to turn things around.

For Benzema at the moment he has a target to surpass his number of goals in the champions league from Lewandowski. Statistics record that Lewandowski has a total of 91 goals and Benzema has a total of 90 goals, this is only 1 goal away from being able to beat Lewandowski, who is currently the top scorer of the UCL in third place.

I completely forgot to share the returns of my bets from the last quarterfinal matches of champions league. Lucky me all my predictions were correct Xd, and the matches were so entertaining to watch. Most of the teams i can say that they ended things early in the first leg and heading to the semi-finals, except for AC Milan against Napoli which is not an easy match to predict even with Napoli's absences due to red and double yellow cards they had in first match, that’s why this match will be my favorite in leg two which is coming up next week.

I will put my guessing and bets like this:

Napoli 1:1 Ac Milan
Bayern Munich 2:3 Manchester City
Inter 3:0 Benfica

Big wins for you before but for Leg 2 it looks like it will be a little complicated especially for Napoli x Milan, Bayern x Manchester City and Inter x Benfica matches.
As for the actual prediction, I'm not too different, but talking about this score is still difficult, I think, especially for 3-0 Inter and Benfica, even though for the first match they did beat Benfica convincingly.

The sacking of Thomas Tuchel wasn't a good effort as it added nothing positive to the growth of Chelsea rather it made their form to depreciate from bad to worse. You can't sign average players with huge amount of money and not get a good coach to manage them that's too bad and that has been the problem of Chelsea right now lack of management and until they get a good manager that will work effectively with the quality of players in the team Chelsea isn't getting better. The owner of Chelsea sacked Tuchel and brought in Graham Potter who couldn't achieve what Tuchel achieved and then Potter was sacked you brought in Lampard  who is yet to get his first trophy as a manager what are you expecting to get with him good results? Dam they can't get anything good unless they bring in a manager that will kick some players out and work with those who is willing to get good results.

All teams have experienced difficult times, including Manchester City and also Manchester United. So there's no good reason to say this team ended without a better future. Do you remember how long Manchester United struggled to get back to good form and win as many titles as they used to? Even they have not been able to do it after Alex Ferguson retired.

I'm not sure Arsenal can lose the standings and the points they have achieved at the moment, but we never know what will happen in the next match between Arsenal vs. ManCity, if in the next game Man City wins it is very likely that what you say can happen, but is it possible....! does not seem.

I see that the Man City team is not serious in the UEFA Champions League this season, it is different from last season, this season alone what I have seen has been 4 defeats for Man City in the UEFA league, there are many reasons for Arsenal not to lose and there are reasons for Man City can't score points and beat the current Arsenal 51 vs. 48 points, because many defenders left Man City, this injured player is a bad sign for Man City to beat Arsenal and lose points.

You can see for yourself how Man City messed with the defenders it still doesn't work, even worse than expected, for that what you say, for me doubtful chances and take good points for Man City, I believe Arsenal can survive. this season.

I don't agree about the lack of positive impact on Chelsea at the moment, but I do agree that Chelsea just need to do a better job of finding the best coach instead of Lampard. Chelsea will probably be better next season, but I no longer expect much from them other than just staying in the Premier League.

it is very possible when you see the performance of these two teams as if they have a significant difference and it is clear that Real Madrid is an opponent that is not equal to Chelsea at this time.
apart from the victory which was only 2 goals but I saw the performance of the team as a whole which in my opinion there is not the slightest possibility for Chelsea to be able to get up and turn things around.

That's correct and Chelsea is a great team they earned many achievements in the Premier League and champions league also there were many famous players playing on this team but still, they are not in a good situation right now in both Champions League and Premier League also after losing the last game against Real Madrid with a 2-0 result there is not any chance for them even in the second leg against Real Madrid.
