Well the game today pretty much went down as everyone expected it to happen. Real is just a very experienced team and does not get nervous even if the other team has a few chances. Chelsea had a few chances to score the first goal in the first half but Kante missed pretty early and then they also missed the big chance very close to the half time break. If Chelsea would have gone into the break with a lead i think the game would have went down completely differently but it just did not happen. After the break the attempts of Chelsea became more and more desperate obviously and therefore Real had more and more space to do counter attacks.

If Chelsea is to be in a good form and well prepared to win this game, the first half was the best time for them to have  scored atleast 2 goals. In the first half they had lots of opportunities to score but they couldn't make any goal, this leg of the game should have been the turn of Chelsea to shine but  they missed it. I am very aware that if Real Madrid managed to score their first goal it would just make it for them to score more goals. Chelsea performance is a big disappointment tonight.

Chelsea had many chances to score, but none of their chances were converted into goals.
Thibaut Courtois made at least 6 saves in this match, he is one of the best in his position. Now the match is over, Real Madrid have qualified for the semi-finals, Milan did too despite being held to a last-minute draw by Napoli.

The evidence is now clear that the coach was not the problem with Chelsea and just as many have suggested that the club management give the coach enough time to build a formidable team that could stand against any club in the upcoming seasons since this season is already gone, and Chelsea have lost all the chances to make a positive note in the season even with the multiple changes of coaches there could not deliver any good result in this season.

I'm just glued to the Napoli vs Ac Milan game. Oliver Giroud missed a penalty to put the visitors ahead in the 22nd minutes but later made up for it by finding the back of the net from a well assisted pass from Rafael Leao. I have had high hopes for Napoli based on their form in the Italian Seria A but It's 59th minutes and the Partenopei doesn't look like a side that can turn things around. I think it's the end of the road for them.

Milan used tactics to win this tie. The game went exactly as they wanted and that is what they prepare for.
Exactly the same thing that happened in the first leg is what's happening in the second. Milan just capitalizes on the counter and luckily for them they made use of the chance. The low block Milan played made it difficult for Napoli to create chances for Osimhen so they had no choice but to spam crosses inside the box, not knowing that Milan also prepared for that as well.

Kvaratskhelie was the stand out player for Napoli for me despite missing  the penalty. Milan put two players on him but e still find spaces and he always attacked. Osimhen scored when it was too late. They can just focus on their league campaign for now until next season.

It's almost over for tonight's games. Chelsea pretty hopeless mission afterwards to continue. I should have given them a little more chance. Napoli seems to be in a form crisis at this stage and that comes to a very bad result now. In the league they had already lost 0-4 to Milan, and now they have also lost in the CL. They had another chance to get back into the game, but they failed to do so by missing a penalty. Then it would have been 1-1 and you would have had more than 10 minutes to equalize and then be able to force an extension, but that is no longer happening now. We are very likely to get a semi-final AC Milan - Inter Milan.

Yeah that is right, the penalty was the chance, but even that doesn’t work for Napoli today. A crisis? Rodrygo Goes scored twice in the 58th and 80th minutes and ensured Real Madrid progress to the semifinals, it looked very easy for Real Madrid to score even though Chelsea dominated the game. And Chelsea also played quite well and had a few chances but no goals were scored,
the same score of 0-2 to Real Madrid in the first leg repeated in the second leg and made Real Madrid qualify for the semifinals, congratulations also to AC Milan who qualified for the semifinals because they drew 1-1 with Napoli. And with a draw AC Milan won 1-2 on aggregate and advanced to the next round.

I know Real Madrid are the better team both from the odds and from the mentality, but that doesn't make me underestimate Chelsea. It was proven that Chelsea were able to create 3-4 dangerous opportunities to score goals, but Chelsea were just out of luck. I'm pleased with how the lads did in this game although for a while we were under a lot of pressure from Chelsea's attack, and now 3-0 on aggregate means we're safe going into the match.

I hope Manchester City will be the third team from the Premier League we will beat in the semifinals, not Bayern Munich. Manchester City are also likely to qualify due to their big aggregate advantage over their opponents, so I hope they will come to the semi-finals.

The possibility to score a goal I think is still there for Madrid, especially now, is a condition where minutes are crucial and we know Madrid are always good at that.
Right now they can be said to have qualified for sure but in other matches I really regret the defeat of Napoli because apart from them having to accept 3 consecutive defeats from Milan (if this score lasts until the end), they also have to give up a semi-final ticket which is actually their favorite.

I'm overly excited and very emotional today about Rodrygo's two goals to win Real Madrid. As I expected, it was a victory as well as proof that Real Madrid is the king of the Champions League among the current Premier League teams. Two English giants have fallen because of Real Madrid this season, Liverpool (6-2), Chelsea (0-4). I can really challenge anyone now even if it's Manchester City.

My confidence about Real Madrid should increase greatly following our win in the Champions League today. I'm excited to see who goes through to the semi-finals tomorrow, that shouldn't be a problem because it looks like Real Madrid aren't fazed by it.

An unexpected result that Napoli still couldn't beat Milan at home. The failure to execute the penalty from Kvaratskhelia was also very bad for the results achieved by Napoli. Even though Napoli scored a goal in injury time, the 1-2 aggregate advantage for Milan made them qualify for the semifinals. Quite disappointed with what Napoli has shown and they should have won with Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia, but the result is still the same even though there are two important players. Congratulations again to Milan, they will be waiting for their opponents in the semi-finals of the winners Inter vs Benfica in tomorrow's game.

Contrast performance on second leg after Real Madrid dominance and huge pressure made Chelsea get difficult situation after Rodrygo scoring first goals trough counter attack, For first goal created there are have three Madrid's player between Rodygo, Benzema and Vinicius but most effective for scoring gaols. Chelsea was very dumb team right now. I don't even know what has been thinking about by lampard. This guy is very amateur in managing the team. There are bunch of players that are better than gallagher but lampard was putting gallagher in the wrong position.
The main problem was not only in the squads but it's also happening with the players. So far, no goal being made against real madrid. That proves how stupid chelsea is right now. It can't even play football properly. At least potter was helping chelsea to go to the current qualification after winning 2-0 against dortmund. It's a shame for lampard. Management shall have to sack him right now.

Nothing changed. Napoli is still playing badly against ac milan. Napoli was only able to make the goal during the injury time which is a shame. The performance from napoli has been decreasing a lot too. it's likely that if spalletti needs to make sure its club will be winning serie a trophy at the end of season. I no longer consider Chelsea to be a club, definitely not after their humiliation tonight against real madrid at Stamford bridge. The problem of the club is sacking a mediocre coach and replacing him with a worst coach, Frank Lampard have no single experience, his chances of winning a game in UEFEA is very slim, Graham Potter did make Chelsea lose points on the league table, but definitely not in UCL. He always make sure that Chelsea had good results in UCL games, Lampard jeopardize everything within one month incharged. 4 games managed, 4 losses, definitely not a good records, Todd Boehly should triggered the sack option because I don't see blues having a future with Frank Lampard.

These results are insane taking into account what names they have on the field. But it's is always the same problem they can't get solved - scoring goals! They weren't weaker than Real Madrid for quite some time, but they just don't score. They just don't... That makes the difference in so many games.

But I found the outcome of the game between Napoli and Milan more surprising than this one. I definitely thought that Napoli is going to turn this around or at least force the game into overtime. But all in all this was a painful defeat for Napoli as they controlled the game so hard! 74% possession and 16:1 corners! This one will hurt for a very long time.

Real Madrid have advanced to the semi-finals without much problem as I expected and they have started waiting for their opponent already. Their opponent is very likely to be Manchester City obviously. Thomas Müller made a statement on this situation like they could still eliminate Manchester City. But in my opinion it is mostly better to be realistic in this kind of situations. Manchester City are far better than them right now.

They showed it with an amazing performance especially in the second half in that match. Maybe the rematch is in Allianz Arena but I don't think too much thing would change for Manchester City at this point. They have a huge advantage to benefit from now. I'm pretty sure Guardiola would know what is doing in this match too for securing their ticket for next round. I don't expect another win though but a draw is likely to be seen I think.

The problem is that when we talk about Comebacks we also realize that it is Madrid who often do things like that and last season it was probably the most successful comeback they have always made because it was not the only time they did something like that.
Of course it will be a little difficult to hope for a comeback to the king of comebacks but indeed all possibilities are of course still there but when we talk about advantages now Madrid will definitely be favorites again in this match.

I have the same thought. Several times Real Madrid failed to play well in the first leg, but they often made surprises in the second leg. So even though they will be playing as guests this time, I think Real Madrid still has a big chance to win this match. It is clear that the crowd will be Chelsea's advantage because they are playing at home, but Real Madrid has a winning mentality that Chelsea doesn't currently have.

The match ended with the same score as the first leg and 4-0 on aggregate was actually quite crushing and this is the same as Liverpool's defeat with an aggregate deficit of 4 goals btw.
Even though in this match Chelsea was in control, their problems were still the same in finishing and the dense defense of Madrid made it difficult for Chelsea.
Now they are waiting for either Manchester City or Bayern and possibly Manchester City.
It looks like this is Deja Vu for the third time for Madrid this season because most likely the opponent will be the same as last season.

I was concerned about the new owner's acquisition, especially after seeing how the same decision impacted Manchester United.
