Congratulations to Manchester City for securing a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. Manchester City took a three-goal lead away to Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium in the first league match, which played a vital role in their second league run. 

They really played very well in the 2 legs in the quarter-finals, in the first leg they got a safe position with the 3 goals they scored so in the second leg they didn't have to force themselves to get another big win. Another congrats to them on the good achievement they got this season, is this a sign that they will be in the UCL final this season? To me both Lampard and Potter are terrible coaches. I can't either of them for my club no matter the circumstance. Everyday when I see any thing regarding Chelsea I always wonder how he managed to fraud his way into the Chelsea job for the second time after have such a disastrous effect the first time. From the day I heard the news about Lampard going to Chelsea I knew it was a bad decision. They gambled a lost gamble in hiring Lampard for Chelsea. They better pray they don't go further down in the league before the end of the season because at this rate they can finish below 15th position.

It would be a big mistake for Ancellotti to start Rudiger ahead of Alaba. You cant stop Halland with just strength, you need technique and Alaba has got that in abundance and he also has the strength to match.
I see Man City reaching the final this time around. except they are plunged with injuries Madrid won't be able to stop them. It's going to be an interesting battle between Pep Guadiola and Carlo Ancelotti. Both are very experienced managers that have won everything in club football.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester City have great potential. So this semi-final match of the Champions League will be full of great competition. However, I will put Manchester City ahead, but there is no chance of taking Real Madrid lightly.

I completely agree with you, Real Madrid is a great club with lots of exposure, experience and great playing style, they are no doubt more than qualified to be the winner this season, but then again, Manchester city can't be underestimate, they have done really well for themselves this season, and I hope to see them become the winner of this season's UEFA champions league.
Atleast, this would be a good compensation for them, just incase Arsenal ends up winning the premier league title for this season.

I disagree with you. If Real Madrid play well enough and perhaps best in Champions League, they are actually deserved to win it. I don't have issue to see Real Madrid are the champion year by year if they are strongest team in Champions League. Like the past season, Real Madrid did make many impressive comebacks which are not only come from luckiness but from their efforts and strong mentality.

In this season, they are showing the same things and they will re-meet Manchester City that look to be stronger than in the past season too. Their semi finals would be very exciting and they are probably stronger than either AC Milan or Inter Milan. It's hard to choose between two central defenders. Alaba can play at more positions than Rudiger and he can bring more flexibility to Real Madrid. Rudiger is stronger than Alaba physically and he is speedy too but I am unsure that he will be able to control Erling Haaland. I also think Ancelotti is experienced to know that he must build up a defense system to control Haaland and should not assign that task to a single player.

As it is now, Manchester City are the favorite to win the Champions League, they have been after this title for a very long time, they are unstoppable at the moment, Real Madrid has been lucky when it comes to the champions league, even when they are not performing too well, they still have that luck of winning the champions league. You are right. Guardiola also complicates simple things. In the past, we have also seen Guardiola apply new match tactics in important matches. The results are very dangerous. Pep deserves this one, he hasn't given up, he has instilled a winning mentality into Manchester City, they actually believe they are a big club. But beating Real Madrid in the UCL is a very difficult task. Manchester city have developed well since the last time they faced Real Madrid but one thing about this Madrid side is their mentality. The Real Madrid - Chelsea game was more like Chelsea dominating possession while Madrid scores, chelsea were the dominate team in both legs but what good is possession if you don't score, the better team is always the one who scores at the end of the day. tbh Real Madrid will be the underdogs in the semi-final match against City because the City side is the most dangerous and complete team without any weak links, the Real Madrid backline is a shithole and Halaand will have so much fun with them.

City just have to kill off the game with their chances because Madrid can be so dangerous with their opportunities. Madrid only needs three decent chances to convert tw0 which has been their stronghold this season.
