This situation takes me back to the Manchester City v Chelsea finale in the 2020/21 season. Manchester City were just beating every opponent they come across in their way until this big match. But they were totally unprepared for Tuchel's really good strategies to counter them. Thanks to the right game plan Tuchel's Chelsea got a shocking 1-0 win and reached the championship. Manchester City shouldn't forget about this finale before going to face Inter in another finale this time in Istanbul.

On paper Inter are the underdog team just as Chelsea were against Manchester City. But Guardiola should never underestimate them if they really want this title for the first time in the team's history. Because Inzaghi would think deeply about what they can do to catch their opponent by surprise unlike the expectations.

Of course, I think it's undeniable, I saw an easy win for Manchester City last night and it's true that the mentality of the king of Europe Real Madrid was not visible throughout the match.

I have the impression that Manchester City can win the second leg because they managed to draw against Real Madrid in the first leg. Manchester City dominated the match with many chances in the first leg, but luck was still on Real Madrid's side, which made Thibaut Courtois work hard to save his goal. The second leg was very good, especially in the first half where Manchester City had 72% of 100% ball possession. Thibaut Courtois was outstanding in the second leg and he made a lot of saves, but I didn't see Benzema playing well and seemed to be waiting for a pass to score, while Man City's defense was excellent and they didn't let Real Madrid open up and create chances to score.

I agree, Italian teams tend to have a strong defense. Juventus, Milan, Inter are some of the teams that are strong in defence. I remember how Inter defended well under Mourinho, but now their style has definitely changed.

It was an extraordinary match for Inter Milan and Mourinho does have the ability to defend in every important game. But now things are different because Inter Milan is no longer coached by Mourinho and I think Inzaghi will try to apply this strategy and try to stay as long as possible and will try to counterattack when they have the chance.

It would be a great achievement if Pep Guardiola managed to lead Manchester City to win the Champions League for the first time. Now their chances are bigger after two seasons he failed and failed. Inter Milan is the last opponent they have to face. IMO, this time Pep Guardiola has more ideal players than the previous season. just look, now City has Haaland who is a goal monster for his team. just look, during the match against Madrid in the second leg. if Madrid's goalkeeper wasn't Thibaut Courtois, maybe Madrid would have conceded more. considering, Haaland had three opportunities on target which Thibaut Courtois was able to brush over. This player too, is able to open space to his teammates. so, City is the most ideal team for now. plus, since Pep Guardiola implemented a system with a 3-2-4-1 pattern. almost, City has never been beaten, even tends to score more goals.

Man City gave a great performance in the match. However, I did not expect Real Madrid to play so badly. I was worried about Real Madrid's performance in this match. I did not know that the goalkeeper of the Real Madrid team would play so badly. Man City won the match by 4 goals. B.  Silva alone scored 2 goals. The first goal was scored in the 23rd minute and the 2nd goal was scored in the 37th minute.

I think Courtois played well, but Manchester City played great that day. So you shouldn't blame Real's goalkeeper for the loss, it was the fault of the whole team. The Madrid side were unable to prepare properly for the game against City. The Citizens took advantage of that and buried Real.

I do believe some lessons has been learnt , some improvement and more experience gained by this City's team right now to compared with the squad then that played with Chelsea. After all, previously it had been predicted about the team that qualified between the Manchester City and Real Madird matches, so the team that would qualify for the final from one of the two teams, of course, could be sure to win the Champions League title this season. The game between Leverkusen and Roma in the Europa semifinals has shown that football sometimes can be unfair. The home team was totally in control of the game from the start to the finish but failed to produce a single goal. That win for Roma is an indication of how Italia football clubs can frustrate the effort of an attacking team. Mourinho's Roma defended from start to finish without making any costly mistakes.

He's not just a great Coach, he's a genius just as he's always said. After the first leg, I knew he was going to defeat Real Madrid at Etihad.
He failed during the finals against Chelsea, last season against Real Madrid I won't consider it since it ain't the Champions League finals.
I'm rooting for City to win the Champions League, Kevin De Brunye is one player who really deserves that Champions League, he's worked so hard and he deserves it. Underestimating a club would lead to your own downfall, so I hope Manchester City gives it all of them best.

Everybody is betting on Manchester city to dust Inter Milan in the final, but football is a crazy game. Looking at this Inter side, they have come a long way and now reaching the finals. Honestly, It will be tight in the final, because you know it's a game of nerves. Never rated this Inter Milan team until the recent past games..they are very annoying. They know how to beat the press so well with their goalie. Courtois wasted many balls against Manchester city. Could be a factor to start up attacks and they also have a compact mid block.. Real Madrid were too open in the middle. So I expect a tough game.

Sure Haaland failed to show his talents on semi finals, but that allowed the team to focus on other players to score. If you mark Haaland very very tightly, that opens up the field for other players to score, and that is exactly what City did.

Every single time someone scored, look at where Haaland was and look at how he opened it up for other people. They are not just depending on Haaland, of course it would be great if he scores but if you mark him too tightly then others can. So they are much better now, compared to a year or so ago and before that, they will have a much bigger chance to win this one without a doubt, the odds are looking like it is going to be easy for them too.

Reading through the entire comment give me a lot of confusion that raised several questions not limited to whether or not you make out time to check Manchester City's performance all throughout the season,  there is no doubt that Manchester City had one or two floors at the beginning of the season,  but towards the middle of the season they're picked up and we're able to arrive at there present stage.

I am sure that Manchester City will finish this season rounding it up with double trophies,  winning both the premier league and the championship trophy also.

Pep Guardiola is indeed smart in terms of building his team they are capable of being a formidable team to be difficult to beat now to the final twice since Pep Guardiola took over as coach of Manchester City who previously had lost to Chelsea in the final, now meeting Inter Milan of course morally Pep Guardiola's team will win it but the final will be interesting for us to see how Pep will make history or will he achieve 3 treble winners?
