I wonder what caused the fact that Ronaldo's form is far from optimal. Is it because of a failed move to another club that he messed up pre-season or because he planned to peak his form for the World Cup? It would be very interesting if the latter. Portugal are unlikely to achieve much in the World Cup, but this is the last World Cup for Ronaldo and he obviously wants to do his best.

I don't blame Ten Hag for CR7's performance and having him play from the bench is probably one of the best decision Ten Hag made for the Manchester United team this season and of course, having Harry Mguire on the bench while Bruno Fernández gets to captain  the team. Manchester United have a better captain in Bruno Fernández than they ever had in Maguire.

As for CR7, we all knew how eager he wanted to leave Manchester United during the transfer season and if his manager had found any top tier team willing to having him on there squad, he would have been gone. Not to mention, he wasn't out for the pre-season games and trainings. It's hard giving such a player, even as an eight player more playing time when he doesn't have a sense of belonging.

His got to want to play and Ten Hag is doing his best to prompt that in him by having him on the bench.

I'm not sure Manchester United can win the Europa League title, I'm sure their focus will be more on the domestic league. like it or not, erik ten hag must be able to bring the red devil squad to finish in the top four in the premier league.

Have you considered if the team was even good before you talk about individuals. Mourinho will show his skill in the European Cups step by step and reveal his true strength. He took over a nice project team, then he made quality additions. With 3-4 quality transfers next year, they will be a candidate for both top of their league and champions league..

We shouldn't be harsh about Ronaldo indeed. He shouldn't be to blame now because he didn't find chances in the starting eleven properly before the Europa League started. To be able to return to his performance, like it or not, Ronaldo must get used to playing in the Europa League this season. This situation had caused a polemic for Cristiano Ronaldo.
