It makes sense that Ronaldo performed bad last season, but the truth is the opposite. Cristiano Ronaldo's performance was quite good last season, even the 37-year-old player listed himself as the 3rd top scorer with a total of 18 goals in the Premier League.

Ronaldo is a big name and still has energy to play football but it is not totally wrong if he plays for half of the time because of his age and toughness of the league. It is better he is introduced in the second half instead of being removed early in the second half. But in the Manchester Derby, there's no way Ronaldo would be introduced in such a shameful stage.

@dataispower there’s a simple rule that I keep repeating for European matches, i.e. never underestimate any side and don’t bother about their league form because team’s have shown to perform differently in European matches despite their poor league form. Furthermore Roma is definitely good on paper, but I don’t expect them to win this game that easily too therefore I’m expecting that the final score will be 0 - 0 or 1 - 0.
