I have to agreed with you here on this point now it's time for him to do things for team instead for himself which are never been going to be positive because here now team needs his experience and motivation which help other players to have better performance, but he is still not helpful in this way like we have Messi in PSG which is surely on his best specially as he is helping players to create chances and done goals now he is already ended with his prime time and if he wants to stay around for some more time then he needs to change his way of play which will help other players.

The reality about knockout round is that it doesn't care about quality or depths, but the results itself. This is why Villareal side with little experience was about to get into the semifinals of the champions league a year ago. I personally wouldn't think they had a chance even if they were in the play-off path because in this case it clearly means there's still a chance.

What we always see from Manchester United's performances this season is that they can't be consistent from one game to another, and now it's happening in the Premier League when they have to admit defeat to Aston Villa with a score of 3-1. If you look at the strength of the club, they should have won this match, but as we saw they were not able to be effective in attacking, Aston Villa who played much more effectively with 3 goals they scored even from 4 shots on goal 3 of them were successful be a goal.

After reading your post I am feeling you have no idea about different leagues in Europe and talking completely crap because right now Manchester United is having the best result in UEFA Europa Cup, and they win last four games in this competition even they are struggling in Premier League but still having good spot which is going to be improved with their performance and with this they can beat any team in this competition as they defeated Real Sociedad in their last game which is also currently in top ranks in La Liga.

Juventus and Sevilla are currently badly struggling in their leagues specially Sevilla which is having their spot in relegation zone and Juventus which has exit from Champions League now their focus is Serie A instead of this Europa Cup which is not going to create any problem Barcelona is also mostly focusing on La Liga so for me in this competition we can't predict about winner as we have to wait for very long time even after this break.

I have always said  it that with the performance of Manchester United I doubt if they can win a trophy from this season.  Manchester United only stands the chance of getting to a good position. Their performance can't make them win the Premier league or Europa league.
