Manchester United will return to action in match 3 of the Europa League against Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus who are currently bottom of Group E.

Manchester United are very favored to win this match, and Erik ten Hag still relies on the 4-2-3-1 formation that was used in the defeat in the derby in the domestic league, however, this time Erik ten Hag entrusted Cristiano Ronaldo as the lone striker although Martial has recovered from injury and performed well in United's last game.

So far the match between Omonia vs Manchester United looks quite surprising where Omonia is believed to be an easy opponent to beat by Manchester United but in the first half Omonia was able to lead 1-0 through a goal scored by Ansarifard in minute 34. It seems that Ronaldo is really having trouble goals in this match because he had several golden opportunities but unfortunately he failed to finish perfectly even Ronaldo looked frustrated several times because he failed to score in this match. Having 76% possession in the first half, surely people will be surprised by the result of this first half which Manchester United conceded 1 goal made by Karim Ansarifard. With the dominance possessed by United, it is not impossible for them to turn the situation into a victory in the second half. But will it happen quickly? Ten Haag made 2 substitutions entering the second half, Malacia came out and was replaced by Luke Shaw, and Jadon Sancho came out and was replaced by Rashford. Ten Hag was forced to put on the field Rashford and Martial, as Ronaldo and Antony could not do anything in the attack. The substitutions were very revealing, Rashford and Martial scored goals, I think this situation is unfavorable for Ronaldo as he still can't find his game. In addition, the opponent was excellent for this, Omonia was in last place in the group and before that they were able to score only one goal. Omonia managed to surprise Manchester United in the first half with one goal they created, winning one goal made Omonia play defensively to maintain that advantage until the end of the first half, but in the second half, Manchester United managed to make it 1-1 with a goal created by Rashford, arriving as a substitute, Rashford was able to change the rhythm of Manchester game for the better and now Manchester has managed to come back and make the score 1-2 for Manchester temporary victory, even though Manchester is now ahead but Manchester did not relax their attack so it looks like there will be goals more that was created in today match before the match ended.
