Agree with this. It's hard now that many people lose motivation towards eth due to what the coin acted last time. 3x is also not small even for a major coin whose value is already huge but we may only predict like this when we saw that the coin is rising very fast and not when the coin is moving in the opposite direction.

For now I can only see a light in bitcoin more than in eth even though there's some negative speculations coming up lately because the confidence of people towards btc is still there and it was still high. That will never come true. It seems like that OP was creating such prediction without even consider the situation in the market. I can even make same prediction for ethereum with higher price than it. Ethereum may able to reach 2k but this may happen once bitcoin will be reaching 30k. You're forgetting that the crypto market reacts to either positive or negative events in the real world. Right now, the global economy is entering a deep recession. We can't expect ETH or any other cryptocurrency to reach a new ATH in price, when demand is extremely low these days. I'd expect ETH to hover between the $1.2k - $1.5k range until things settle up a bit. I'm certain the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap will reach $4k in the future because no other platform can outmatch its level of decentralization and censorship-resistance (even though "The Merge" has made ETH less decentralized than it was before).

The crypto market is widely unpredictable so either ETH goes up or goes all the way down in an instant. As long as you don't invest more money than what you can't afford to lose, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts
