That is what is killing the Nigeria premier League football. Big teams cant maintain their consistency due to lack of funding, support, sponsorship and bad leadership. Eyimba suppose to be the machine of the league and representing us internationally.
I understand your point but this not only happening in Nigeria football but all over the world. There are some major things that are making strong teams to become weaker teams in the future and not necessarily the management but the players. And that happens when the team has more injury players and some of the key Players might have retired. And in that process if the team has no good players to withstand the average teams that were struggling, they would beat them. Liverpool is facing the same scenario and other teams. So it is not only in Nigeria.
Do not forget that management of players is very important for a team to continuing winning and being the best.
There was a time when Chelsea as a club won the champions which was due to their amazing performances to have led them to winning the cup. Currently we have been seeing how Chelsea has been performing very weak which applies to other clubs too in the Nigerian league.
Well are very correct the truth is that it kind hard to maintain and magically manage a player’s to keep winning the game…well a nice example you are to far minded person…when Chelsea first won the championship league in the year 2021 just as you have stated it was a lot then..well don’t just say it was not just only talent it was more than that well Thomas Tuchel managed that squad very well to the very best and till date it record are still there…

Well and he got the best out of players like Kante, Mount, and Havertz mentally. Everyone knew their job and bought into it and they where all lock im into the job was more like he through them how to understand the game and understand themselves very much…

Enugu Rangers deserves this trophy because they have waited patiently for this very trophy for a very long time. I was actually thinking that this season Rivers united were going to win the league at some points because Rivers united were actually leading and was having some outstanding games left to play, due to their CAF champions League engagement on the continent but River united gave that lead up by dropping points both at home and away.

The league title still would have gone to Rivers united on the last day , had it been that Rangers drop points. But Rangers were hungry for the title and showed class by winning their game convincingly. But not a good one for a side like Bayelsa united that were relegated this season. This is one team that just got promotion to the premier League last season, and again they are going into relegation this season this is not a good one for them because it's not easy getting promotion to the league.
Finally we are talking about this.
Congratulations to the boys they have now won this for the 9th time just as Enyimba. If they should win it again next year they would have broken the record. Do you think they would be able to defend this championship next year and win it for the 10th time?
And also what would it take for them to go global just like other local leagues we watch and talk about here.

One thing with Nigerian teams is that they are not consistent with their performance, it very difficult for a Nigerian team to play well and maintain a good form for a long time. Let see how they will perform but am not that optimistic about Rangers defending their title come next season.

A typical Nigerian team will after each season in the name of building bring in a whole new crop of players and replace the already existing once, which doesn't go well most times, as they end up not performing up to expectations. But the big task for me when it comes to Rangers is how they will perform in the champions League. Getting a good performance in the champions League will make more Nigerians teams to be in the champions League.

The summary of everything is that teams have their uptimes and downtimes when they perform well or poorly. No team would say they haven't experienced any of the phases before in a season. I trust the very big teams we know in our Nigerian league, will someday perform as we have anticipated them to perform for long.

I don't think Eyimba, Liverpool, and Chelsea, which are mentioned here, are not done from giving us fantabulous performance in seasons to come. Let's watch out for them

Congratulations to Enugu Rangers, they are the crown league champions this season. This marks their third trophy in a decade and nine times in total. Enugu Rangers is the only club in the Nigerian Premier League that’s giving Enyimba a run for their money. I hope to see a more fierce competition next season, and a new side taking the spotlight.
Enugu Rangers continued their unbeaten run and now they have won the Nigeria premier league by just 1 point after beating ikorodu in their last fixture of the season. Nwobodo scored an opening goal in the 30th minute for Rangers. 1st half ended 1-0 to Rangers. In the second half Nwobodo scored another in the 52nd minute and completed his brace just after 7 minutes of Nwobodo 2nd goal  Bada scored the only goal for ikorodu city in the 59th minute. Match ended on 2-1 to Rangers because of that win they got 1 point advantage on Rivers Utd and won Nigeria premier league

Enugu Rangers started the league with the best performed and finished the league with the best performance. They defeated every team with 68 points in which they had powered and struggling. They remained at the top with a lot of tights work and efforts and gained strength from everyone. They also made a 1 point difference in the last game considering their victory which made them successful in this league title. Their competition was quite tough but still they did not give up and kept playing better.
