Confident and bold? That's an underestimating statement to the Spanish national team. Have they not done enough to get some accolades? Even if they lose the finals to Argentina today, we can still be proud to say they surfed through the roughest phase of the competition, and somehow, got to the finals even when we all thought they'd get knocked out in the rough of 16. Meanwhile, Argentina doesn't seem to have so much opportunities that I should have a change in mind. This first half has been literally tight for both teams even though Spain has had more of the possession, Argentina hasn’t done bad defensively either, i knew this final match between Spain and Argentina won’t produce much goals because both sides will be really conservative, am really impressed with the game play so far but with the way the match is going i feel the winner might be decided in penalties. It's a final with no second chance game and so each side is playing with a lot of caution to avoid a ny silly mistake that would put the opponent in advantageous position. I suspected it's not going to be like what the France Vs England was with goals all made in both halls of the game. Am also impressed with both teams as it's being a mature game with clinical performances in the first half. Just may be we could get goals in the second halfway and may not activate into an extra time for penalties shootout.

Even with the fact that Spain had more ball possession but I think the game is balanced.

While the possession was good and even had quite some nice attempts for goal, Spain also did a few mistakes which Argentina was not too far from take benefit from them.
Spain needs to be extra careful. Plus, Argentina strategy seems to be to let the opponents get tired and then, late in the game, start becoming really dangerous. Spain may need to keep fresh players for the end, and, unlike England, should not try to make a wall of defense when that happens, instead try to play their usual game.

Tamal have an effective defense tonight despite being very aggressive and committed a lot of fawls giving Argentina current numbers of free kicks but they are yet to make good use of those opportunities.
