It's hard to argue in the context of short tournaments (although Brazil is now consistently bad on average) because with a certain amount of luck you can become a champion even if you play "like everyone else." If Brazil wins the 2026 World Cup, then everyone will say that the many years of crisis are over and now “their era has come” (they really have a whole generation of talent), if they fail again, then reasons for this will again be found. I can't say if Brazil is going to start achieving things or not. Because the coach is very new right now. And it is also going to be tough to ask a lot from him so quickly. But at the same time, he knew what he is getting himself into. So he should be ready to take the challenge. I think the biggest target should be the next world cup. they now have a new coach in the person of dorival júnior, he was formerly the head coach at São Paulo in April 2023 where he helped the team win their first ever Copa de Brasil with some other records around his career so far, he has been a coach around the Brazilian league so he's got a good idea around Brazilian style of playing football so he will not find it difficult getting used to the team members within a short period of time he will get used them all and his tactics and strategy will be such that they all can adopt to easily.

Hopefully with this their new coach the Brazilian team will have better form and be able to perform well in the world cup just like they did few years back hopefully they go beyond the point they got to few years back.

@doomloop on the face of it I can understand why everyone’s so negative about Brazil but let’s not forget that this is a team that has many talented stars hence I won’t underestimate them even on their worst day. Furthermore with Carlo not taking over they’ll have to figure who can lead them in his absence but I strongly feel that they can yet do well if the new coach can motivate them and fix their pending issue’s.
