I think it's obvious that this is part of FIFA's long-term strategy to include as many countries as possible in the World Cup, with the goal of having more matches, more fans, and greater profit. 
For the same reason, World Cups have recently been organized in two or more countries, as is the case with next year's World Cup in Canada, the USA, and Mexico.

The same goes for Norway. We weren't surprised by the performances of Haaland and Sorloth, but what about the others?
 It's worth waiting to see what their journey will be like at next year's World Cup.

Yeah, with this win against Italy, Norway has been able to meet the requirements for the World Cup. And they have been able to qualify for the World Cup after 27 years, if I recall correctly. And it is actually highly unlikely to see Haaland single handedly getting his team to the World Cup. Honestly I should not say single handedly because you know, they have a lot of good players in the team, right? But of course, the goal machine is Haaland, no one could deny that at least. And I am actually expecting more good things from them. Not only winning the World Cup , obviously, but definitely expecting some surprises this season
