The host of the last world cup is already out of the competition and will be heading home after their last against Bosnia. I said this because they would even come 3rd in their group even if they managed to beat Bosnia, their 7 goals conceded in 2 matches will be their major barrier moving to the next stage even if they win their last match. 2 red card in this game + the 3 in the opening match of Mexico Vs South Africa, this means I have seen 5 red cards already in this tournament. I'm talking of the ones I have followed up because I'm not following all the games, my statistics of 5 red cards is based on the one I know of. Last world recorded a total of 4 red cards from start to finish and this is just the second game of the group stages so far, lol.

LOL.. their imported players were of little use? For Indians, this is a sweet revenge. India crashed out of qualifiers, after some dubious decisions from the referee during their match against Qatar. But yesterday Qatar were handed down one of the heaviest defeats in the history of the world cup. Anyway, let's shift the focus to the South Korea vs Mexico match. RoK is one of the strongest teams from Asia. But they are up against hosts Mexico, and that too at Guadalajara. Koreans would be happy with a draw (they won the first match against Czech Republic). BTW, Stake has Korea at 4.10.

Canada basically cleaned the floor with Qatar.
It is something I would have not expected to see from that game, I had assumed Qatar had some fairly good defense, but it was completely the opposite from what I had assumed...

Knowing how proud and selfish some rich people in Qatar are, I assume there were thousands of people there who lost a significant amount of money because their bets in favour of their national football selection.

This is something comparable to the 7-1 Germany scored against Curaçao this week, but Qatar could not even score a single goal to save some face and honor. Good riddance, I guess...

There is still another round for some teams and two games left for others so we might expect more upsetting results and a lot of goals being scored maybe.
The defeat of Qatar is now the second worst defeat after Curaçao which at least scored a goal. That's a shameful day for the Qatari national football team. I wasn't waiting to see such large score.

You can't compare these two matches. Curaçao was up against one of the top teams in this tournament. And still they managed to put up a spirited display, and more importantly,  Livano Comenencia managed to score the first ever world cup goal for Curaçao. On the other hand, Qatar team is full of imported players, whom they purchased with their petrodollars. And yet, they suffered a heavy defeat against a team that usually fail to qualify for the world cup. Qatar has one more match remaining (vs Bosnia and Herzegovina). After that they can pack their bags and go home.

If it had been a top team like France or Spain, then it would have made some sense, but getting completely destroyed 6-0 by a team like Canada is truly embarrassing. If your country is putting so much effort into promoting football and hosting such a major tournament, then the team should at least work hard enough to make it past the group stage as a way of rewarding the fans and the country. The Qatar team really needs to think about these things and seriously reflect on their performance.

I didn't watch the match in person, but from the replays Qatar looked frustrated with the game last night they seemed to lose control resulting in two red cards just like South Africa in the previous match.
This is a crushing defeat, for me Qatar have no chance of qualifying they just play recklessly which I see means there is no cohesiveness in this game, however Canada deserve to win.

England's great performance which gave them a 4-2 win over Croatia and they managed to collect three points. England team is in quite good form especially their star players played well, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Rashford they all scored goals. If they can maintain their strength in this World Cup, then they can compete strongly for the World Cup. I think England team has enough good players if they can play well and play strategically then they will definitely be in a good position. However Croatia team's performance was not very good due to which they lost but they will win the next matches and they can survive in the group stage.

Yes, it cannot be denied that England does have very great players at this time, because almost all of their players clearly play in big teams in Europe and therefore they have experience and also very good skills. But even so, I think England should not be complacent because basically this is only the beginning phase and there are still many more obstacles waiting for them in this World Cup. But even so, it is certain that if we look at England's performance this time, they will definitely qualify from this group stage.

Then talking about Croatia, they did not perform well in this match because we can see that their defense is not very strong. So because of that, I think Croatia clearly must make their defense stronger, so they can win well in their second match. Because basically, even though the teams that Croatia will face are not too special and their performance, namely Ghana and Panama, but still Croatians should not underestimate those two teams. After draw with Switzerland in their opening match of the World Cup, it seemed they might do better in the following matches. Their second group match loss to Canada by a huge goal difference has left them in danger of being eliminated at this early stage as Qatar will need to have a higher goal difference if they win their next match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Winning by a larger goal difference may not be easy for them or it is doubtful if they will win their next match.

LOL.. my strategy of betting in favor of the underdogs is no longer working. During the initial phases, it worked for me. But for the past few days, I have raked up quite heavy losses. Mexico vs South Korea match just got completed, and as expected Mexico won by a margin of 1-0. I had made two bets, in favor of draw and RoK win. And lost both of them. Same thing happened with the Switzerland vs Bosnia match, and also with the Qatar vs Canada match. Anyway, I will persist with my strategy. For the USA vs Australia match, again I will make two bets. One for Australia win (5.40x), and the other for a draw (4.10x).

Qatar lost to the host nation Canada in the match but the scoreline would have gotten to 10 goals if Qatar played teams like France because Mbappe would have scored more than 5 goals after their second player was sent off in the second half following their second red card. Qatar fans will be disappointed after seeing their country concede too many goals after they shared point in their first game now they will face the risk of trying to win their next game if they still want to remain in the competition because they are in the bottom place in the group B they would need to win their next game and pray that Bosnia & Herzegovina doesn't win their match so that 5jey can have a little chance to qualify from the group stage.

Back to Back wins for Mexico and they top the group and advance to the round of 32. They have been solid especially the keeper with crucial saves close to the end of the game. They have been looking solid and it being their home World Cup, they do have an advantage in that regard.

It's firstly a big win, secondly a first ever win of Canada in World Cup history, and lastly it can help Canada to be qualified for a next phase. Bosnia eliminated Italy in World Cup playoff but now they played terrible in two matches so far. With only 1 point after two matches, Bosnia has very little chance of going next but at least they can compete with Qatar for a third position in this group and wait for results from the other groups.

Well... they qualified for the 2022 edition since they were the hosts. But this time, they cheated during the qualifiers and that's how they got in. During the match against India, they were awarded a goal by the corrupt referee despite the replays clearly showing that the ball went past the line and thereby it went out of play. Obviously the corrupt referee refused Indian request for VAR as well. Sometimes the attraction of petrodollar can be too hard to ignore. And media refused to cover this incident. I wonder why. Anyway, we were quite happy when Canada mopped the floor with them.

Impressive, Canada secured their first ever world victory with a clean 6:0 win over their opponent Qatar. After they drew their first game with Bosnia, This is a very good start for the country, and as one of the host nations this tournament, and they're currently the first country to secure the highest number of goals a team have scored in a match this 2026 world cup, Mexico also won their game and it's impressive to see how these host nations are performing in this world, looking forward to seeing what USA would also do today against Australia.

Same Qatar that Switzerland struggled to a draw is who Canada won by 6:0. Jonathan Davd is now the second player after Lionel Messi to score a hat trick. When I saw the confidence of Jonathan David at Juventus, I knew he will be up to something in the world cup because he possess good qualities of a striker. Maybe we should blame the red card as the reason why Canada scored many goals but if there were no red card Canada would have still won because they already scored 2 goals before Qatar were reduced to 10 men and later in the second half they were reduced to 9 men which made them to create loopholes that Canada players used to break their defense and netted more 3 goals.

Today's match Qatar vs Canada is one of amazing matches if FIFA world cup 2026. Canada win the match with a huge margin of 6 clean goals. Qatar make so mistakes.
