The second round of this tournament seems to come with lots of surprises and goals, I’d never expected Canada would win any national team by that margin, 6 goals to none…that’s very impressive and a wonderful performance from the Canadians.

It is something I would have not expected to see from that game, I had assumed Qatar had some fairly good defense, but it was completely the opposite from what I had assumed...

Canada and Switzerland would probably be the ones heading to the next round in their group because Switzerland also had a wonderful game last night against Bosnia winning with a score of four goals, and they completely dominated the game.

Mexico won against South Korea, and they’re now the top in their group with six points but the draw between Czech and South Africa really help South Korea because they’re still the second on the standings and they just need to atleast draw their next game to qualify..

Back to Back wins for Mexico and they top the group and advance to the round of 32. They have been solid especially the keeper with crucial saves close to the end of the game. They have been looking solid and it being their home World Cup, they do have an advantage in that regard.

I wonder what a misplacement of priority some times. I called this a misplaced priority from the side of Qatar because how comes they have all the resources to host the World Cup but did not take their time to invest in their Squad Depth by nationalizing some talented world players and mixing it with some of their top performing players too. They could have done this over the last decade ago while planning for the World Cup host. Such moves would have given them a strong performance depth which can propel their team forward to make great performances during the last World Cup and this current one. Then, they would have employed one of these top performing club managers like Xabi Alonso and the likewise to tighten the squad up.

I'm talking of the ones I have followed up because I'm not following all the games, my statistics of 5 red cards is based on the one I know of. Last world recorded a total of 4 red cards from start to finish and this is just the second game of the group stages so far, lol.

At the beginning of the match we saw both Canada and Qatar perform well. We saw a  lot of attacks and counter attacks . But after canada scored their first goal , Qatar lost confidence. After that, the match was no longer under qatar's control after the referee showed Al amin a red card.

Canada managed to score  3 goals in the first half. They performed incredibly well. At the beginning of  the second half , the referee showed Madibo a red card. It was not possible to stop canada's attack with 9 players. In the end, qatar conceded 6 goals. it was incredible. Canada's performance surprised  everyone in this match. The team played really well.

Canada failed to  win their first match against Bosnia. But in the second match, Canada's players did not make any mistakes. They won by dominating completely. The canada  vs switzerland match will  undoubtedly be more competitive.

Allowing yourself to be beaten five goals down in a world cup fixture is just crazy and with this kind of result, the former host of the world cup can only participate thus far in the group stage phase of this edition. I didn't get the opportunity of watching this match due to activities but I've known from the onset that Mexico will beat Korea, or let me just say that my instinct had already told me that Mexico will beat Korea and I actually placed a small amount of money in bet on Mexico which I won, profit is not much and not worth celebrating but a win is a win I guess, someone who watched the match said exactly what you said, he told me that both teams played really well in the match but Mexico was luckier and ended up winning by 1 goal to none from Korea.

The most favorite team in group D was Turkiye. But they failed to win in the first match. They lost 2-0  against australia. I  watched the match. Turkiye's players dominated the match, they were able  to attack a lot. But their defense was quite weak. As a result, despite relatively few attacks, australia was able  to score two goals. But Turkiye could not score a single goal. Today, turkiye will play against Paraguay. Paraguay is not a weak team. Even then, I will  probably  bet on turkiye to win today.

Mexico has home advantage, and I think that's a big motivation for them. Although overall, Mexico and Korea are fairly evenly matched, there are several other factors, especially adapting to the atmosphere and weather, that made Mexico win this match. I'm not surprised by this victory, in fact, they showed their best performance and played a tight match, which is proof that Korea put in a lot of effort in this match.

in the last 25 years, they have played in only one world cup final and they won it. their neighbor Argentina played in two finals and won one. having five stars on their crest doesn't make them the absolute favorites of world cup.

Yes, Brazil has had many successful World Cups in the past and had some of the best players in the world with their magnificent squads. However, that has changed, and today I think France, Germany, and England have stronger squads than them. Brazil has a high chance of being eliminated from the tournament. The stars on the emblem represent past successes, not the present.

tbh i don't follow Brazil like i used to anymore... but whoever is supposed to replace Ronaldo will probably never satisfy us. they won't leave that same Romario taste on the palate and i'm sure they won't be able to make those runs down the right like Cafu or unleash those cross shot hybrids from the left like Roberto Carlos.

I am looking forward to this match. Brazil cannot be compared to a team  like Haiti. We know that brazil is much  stronger. But their performance in the first match surprised us  all. Their performance against morocco was below average.

Haiti is not a strong  team. They will play defensively in this match and will want to draw  the match, that is for sure. We did not see a  good performance from the Brazilian attacking player especially Thiago, who was in the center of the attack, played very badly. We did not see a good  performance from Raphinha either.

Neymar will miss today's match due to injury. Cunha and endrick should be given  a chance in today's match. These two are quite talented player.

It's really interesting that a team with star players like Kenan Yıldız, Arda Güler, and Hakan Çalhanoğlu couldn't score a goal; what happened in the first match was truly surprising. Yes, Canada really humiliate Qatar, who made a terrible impression, a sending off in the opening minutes is simply unacceptable at a World Cup final tournament. You would expect the players to be carefully selected, yet at times they seem like semi-professionals palyers. What’s more, Qatar have absolutely no players who are any good at playing football, if they qualify to the World Cup, it just goes to show that the standard of play over there is really low, even Iraq and Cape Verde played better.
I have to admit that South Africa and Qatar are currently the worst teams in terms of technique and tactics.

This is certainly true because every team playing at home is highly motivated. They are guaranteed to be sufficiently motivated by their own fans. They also don't want to put on a performance that isn't worth watching. This might be a problem for them so they are very persistent in every match whether in yesterday's opening match or this second match where they also managed to deliver a second victory for their supporters albeit by a fairly narrow 1-0 scoreline for Mexico over South Korea.
