The championship where Ronaldo plays is at a somewhat different level. He may be able to perform better there, but in national team matches it's obvious that he finds it harder to compete against younger players. Overall I think Portugal played a poor match, they focused heavily on ball possession, but most of the game was concentrated in midfield, and they created very few shots on goal. Under those circumstances, it was naturally much more difficult for Ronaldo to create anything in attack.

If any team lose are draw the match we can't blame any player or team captain but instead we should blame the manger tactics. Roberto Martinez tactics was so poor against Congo. They should change the tactics in the upcoming matchs otherwise it will be the words campaign for Roberto Martinez. Czech did not put much effort in that game as South Africa did, but still, they got the first goal and still ended the first leg as the winner. South Africa is having a tough time from the beginning of the World Cup. After they were humiliated in the game against Maexico, they failed to win against Czech. I think they are lucky to get a draw in the 80 minute into the game. I thought the would lose the game but after the first half, Czech didn’t put much effort into the game, as if they were not playing to qualify into the next round, South Africa pressured them in the second half to get an equalizer from a penalty.

This is going to be the end of the World Cup for the South Africa, after two games they have only earned one point. Their next opponent will be South Korea, and we all know how strong they are playing against Czech. At age 41 Ronaldo cannot be judged by the same physical standards as Messi at 38 or 48 even tho the age bracket is not that big the truth still remains that he is still dominating well at the highest level and still representing Portugal only that alone is a great record. We can see that Mexico has become the first team to advance to the knockout stages of the 2026 World Cup, however it seems that Mexico took advantage of a mistake by the South Korean goalkeeper to win the game. However in the previous match in Group A, South Korea played very well against the Czech Republic and I noticed that they won that match but against Mexico they suddenly lost their rhythm and lost the match,Mexico currently has six points and South Korea has three points, Mexico has won back-to-back matches, so it seems to me they will win their next match against the Czech Republic.

Qatar's players are capable of performing quite well at the beginning of the match. But canada played incredibly well. They made a lot of attacks from the beginning and put the qatari players under pressure. Qatar's defenders were able to repel several attacks. If the goalkeeper able to  played a little better, they would not have conceded 6 goals. But canada's performance surprised  me. I did not  imagine that the canadian players would  perform so well. It was with Switzerland Qatar had a good first start but with Canada what I saw wasn't nice from Qatar right from the starting whistle because the Canadians wasn't nice in giving them free time to possess, so the match that Qatar thought to be there second draw became a match they would concede more than any country in the world cup and two red card was also added for Qatar, it could have been one but because of the change of decision by the referee that was why it became two. From the 6 conceding goals, one goal was from own goal through Mohamed Al-Mannai, actually leaving the ball to there goalkeeper would have been a better solution than how he scored his country.

in the very first half, france waited for the other team to change a bit, and they studied it, this also helped because it made everything much more beautiful, i also understand that france is practically the best national team of the last 10 years, and im not surprised if they win this world cup too.

France played very  badly in the first half. They could not attack strongly. But in the second half  we saw a completely different scene. The coach was able to identify the weaknesses of Senegal's defense well. And in the 66th minute of the second half, france secured the  lead with a goal from Mbappe. After that, the match became very competitive. Both teams were able to attack a lot. But in the end , france secured the victory with a score of 3-1 . This was  one of the most competitive matches i have seen in this world cup. Both teams played very well.

I think South Africa played very badly in the game yesterday,  but they were lucky to get a draw after the referee awarded a penalty to them late in the game. They were really poor that I did not see them scoring if not for the penalty. The draw gave them a chance to go through to the next round, but I don't think they will, before I am not convinced with the way they have been playing so far in this world cup.

The way Mexico has decided to take the World Cup as a responsibility, and they won South Korea after the first half, and for them to even be the first club to cross to the knockout stage is a good sign that they don't want to take any opportunity for jokes, and to win, you have to take advantage of your opponent so that they will use it against them so am tipping my hat for mexico for winning their game and crossing to the knockout stage.

Just 1 match not won by Portugal with Ronaldo immediately made a lot of annoyance. Not every match has to be good, right? This is just the beginning so there are still many opportunities to win, but if 1 match is labeled bad overall it will be very unethical.

The problem Ronaldo is that he is too greedy,he wants to do it all by himself and dosent want to help his teammates. He covers some spots where he dosent have to be and just wants that he shoots the ball and i think this is the main reason why they didnt win the game. He will need to change his gameplay if he wants Portugal to go far if not they will be eliminated early. Messi on the other hand is playing for the team and trying to assist and score and in this age Messi is better then Ronaldo by a class and Messi currently makes a huge difference for Argentina in attack.

For France there were no obstacles in the second half although for the first half they looked struggling but the second half they showed the quality that should be there but this is bad for Portugal today they followed in the footsteps of the favorite club to draw in today's match.

South Africa is coming home, they can't proceed to the second round in this competition, they have only 1 points while Mexico has 6 points and South Korea 3. Mexico has already qualified to the world cup round of 32 already.

South Africa next match is against South Korea, if south Africa draw then South Korea will qualify with Mexico to the next round of the world cup, South Korea is very much in form and they will definitely win or draw against South Africa.

I think the ongoing Xenophobic attacks in South Africa might be the reason why they haven't been performing well. Many people are praying for them not to perform well so that they will be eliminated from the group stage.. truly they could still qualify from the group but from what I am seeing about South Africa especially their poor performance,they might not progress out of the group stage. However,South africa next opponent is south Korea, Korean is a formidable team and their performance recently has been very better so I don't think South Africa can walk away with three points from this game,the reason why I think so is because South africa performance is poor it will be an easy win for South Korea.

Did they come up with reasons why Bruno Fernandes should face such harsh criticism? The criticisms would be constructive if they came up with his faults and how they affected the Portuguese side negatively. Maybe Portugal was expecting to easily beat DR Congo. But they forgot that this country is not a cheap side to beat. This was a team that had defeated some of the big teams in Africa, including Nigeria. Meanwhile, Portugal managed to win a handicapped Super Eagles, which didn't feature some of its big names. Players like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman were not in the game. Portugal fans should know that DR Congo is a formidable side and stop the attack on players and the coach.

Football fans should learn not to underrate countries in Africa, Asia and America. The belief that European countries should win countries in Africa and others is flawed. Maybe there wouldn't have been any criticism if Portugal had drawn with countries like the Czech Republic.

Switzerland as successful and achieved three points today and that as show that they really need to point since they draw the first game and know they achieved full three points and leading there group table. Am sure Switzerland will surely qualify for the next round because they really do well and am really impressed with their performance. In the World Cup when a player receives a red card that will be advantage for the other opponent to press well and score more goals in the pitch.
