So where are you betting on this match?
I personally like both teams, but since one of them has to be eliminated, my pick will most likely be Brazil, without underestimating Norway at all. However, if it goes to a penalty shootout, Norway could have a better chance.

In my opinion, Erling Halland is worth more than the whole Brazilian team so I wouldn't be surprised if he just obliterates them alone.

However, the strength of a chain is in its weakest link, and that's where Brazil edges and will probably end up exploiting Norway's weak spots.
From the records and history, Norway have never lost to Brazil before in the world cup and now the odds is in favour of Brazil this point shows that we are seeing a different trend that can possibly play out in this match, pointing to one clear fact that Norway may fine it hard to win over Brazil in this match but the likely outcome can be a draw at most if Norway sustain push against Brazil as always.

Brazil is going to face Norway today and this match will be very exciting and competitive. We can see that Norway team is in very good form recently and they have entered the World Cup for the first time in the round of 16. If Norway team players play strongly against Brazil then Brazil match will be very difficult as both teams have good players. Especially if Haaland fails to prevent his strong attack then Brazil team will create a lot of problems and there will be chances of scoring goals. And if Brazil team performance is very good and they can attack strongly then it is possible to win against Norway because comparatively Norway team defense is not very strong. However most of the gamblers will bet on Brazil to win in this match today even though this match is going to be very exciting, it is very difficult to predict who will win.

I am beginning to believe on this your thoughts, I can see that the match is just starting in less than 15 minutes, and the Norway are playing strongly than Brazil. That shows that the Norway has higher chances if winning or defeating the Brazil in this match. Norway is also among the countries that I respect alots with thier ability to create much chances easily.

Well, Brazil just missed a bigger opportunity they had now, how on earth one be missing a pk so easily and smoothly?. The Guimaraes didn't try in missing this opportunity seriously and I wasn't happy at all. I just hope they work hard and achieve the achievable in this match,  because the Brazil are my favorite to win this match.

Brazil just missed the golden opportunity to convert the penalty and take the lead. Full credits to Nyland for saving that and I thought Vinícius Júnior would take the penalty in the absence of Raphinha and Neymar, but when Vinícius gave the ball to Bruno Guimarães, I lost confidence. That is exactly what happened, as he looked like a nervous wreck.

Norway started the match well. They scored  a goal in the second minute of the match. It was ruled out for offside. Brazil won  a penalty in the 12th minute of the match. But Bruno guimaraes failed to score. It was a bad penalty shot. I don't understand why Vinicius didn't take the  penalty shot!!! Cunha or casemiro could have taken the penalty shots. Why Guimaraes!!!!!
Anyway, norway is not a weak team. If brazil's gameplay is messy, they won't win the match. Haaland only touched the ball twice in  23 minutes. I'm looking forward  to seeing haaland and vini perform. And Vini is performing  quite well so far.

Brazil failed to take advantage of their best opportunity to break the deadlock with a poor penalty kick. The Norwegians were happy that they ate their cake and had it back. However, Brazil attackers is very sharp and they're also controlling the midfield which is a good advantage to them. Norway should be careful.

This is a high-voltage match. I am kinda disappointed to far. There is no way you can make mistakes in the knockout stages. Missing a penalty is a crime at this stage. I am writing because it is a hydration break, and I have a minute to share my feelings with you guys. I will have to say that their Goalkeeper saved Norway already, but the Brazil team has to play extraordinarily to win their first match against Norway in the World Cup.

I hope the team did some extensive research. They should know how to stop Halland and how to score against Norway. I expect the Brazil team to unite and play as a team. They need to score no matter what. I would love to see a Brazil-Argentina match.

After the game, Mbappe had this to say, sincerely, his not wrong, those guys only came to injure French team that's what I saw. They didn't come to play football, not for a single minute, the way they were kicking, battering and bruising the French players was something else, funny enough in all of that, the referee decided to keep his card to himself and I wondering if they actually wanted the French players to get injured. The referee was not professional in his officiating because how can Paraguay be playing rugby in a football match and nothing was done about that. I understand they needed to be defensive because if they had come out, France would have dealt with them but was playing rugby on the French players necessary. It's the referee I blamed because he failed to do what he was supposed to do, I can imagine if it was the other way round, he would have sent the French players off
The Paraguay players were very smart to avoid bookings during the game. I am also blaming the linesmen and the VAR officials for not identifying these excesses from players. I am also surprised that French players acted very professionally. I thought that some of these young French players would have overreacted due to the rough nature of their opponents. But I was wrong because some of them were laughing and enjoying themselves. Congratulations to the French side on this well-deserved victory.
To be honest, I’m surprised by how the referee and VAR handled the Paraguayan players. I’ve been watching their matches since the group stage, and yes, their play has been very rough. But strangely, no Paraguayan player received a red card for their rough play. I think the French players were lucky in this match, given how rough Paraguay’s play was, I imagined many French players would get injured, but fortunately, nothing happened.

I am actually surprised that the French national team players didn't pick up any injuries. Paraguay played very dirty, and how they didn't receive a single yellow card is a complete mystery to me. It feels like the referee from Uzbekistan simply hates the French. I hope FIFA reviews his officiating and stops appointing him to important matches. This kind of impunity encourages players to be aggressive and can lead to serious injuries.

It is true that Norway has never lost to Brazil before, but looking at today's Round of 16 match, it looks like Brazil could win today's match.Brazil actually had a chance to go ahead but we saw that one of their players missed a penalty. However, if Brazil had scored from the penalty spot against Norway, they would have been mentally calmer and more able to attack. The 30th minute of this match between Brazil and Norway has already passed, but although Brazil is ahead in terms of attack, we can see that Norway is ahead in terms of ball possession and Manchester City's reliable players are playing exceptionally well in this match so I think he will be able to lead his team to victory in this World Cup match.

Brazil had a chance to score a beautiful goal but they missed the penalty. Norway are playing very calmly, they are not running with the ball as soon as they get it. They are playing strategically. Norway's performance so far has been the best. Norway's goalkeeper is also very clever. This penalty was a big chance for Brazil but they missed an early goal because they were not successful. I think Norway can win this match because their controlling is very good.

The first thirty minutes of this game has been goalless and to a large extent balanced because both sides has decided well in the same time trying to launch counter attack on the opposing team. From the way am seeing things this first half is like to end up in a goalless draw, because both sides are actually disciplined not a do so many mistakes.

This game is likely to be settled in the second half of the day because, Brazil as a team has shown to play more better in the second half. Both teams will make sure that they try and breakdown the opposition defense lines. This game is a balance one so far because there is no clear team dominating the game so far, close to the ending of the first half , I hope they maintain this scoreline.

If this penalty can be converted into a goal they will probably change the course of the game as this could be a good turning point to be in control but it looks like Norway don't want to make this easy because with the missed penalty then the flow of the game is still in their control at the moment.

To be honest I was quite surprised by the rhythm of the game in the first half because I thought Brazil were in control but it seems that for now Norway are still very comfortable with their conditions even though for now their chances are still minimal.

The first half will end a few more minutes and the final result is likely to remain a goalless draw but it becomes a little more interesting in the second half if this condition continues then the possibility of the second half later both teams will do a faster match in terms of tempo.

Brazil would have comfortably shattered that record if not that Bruno Guimarães missed the penalty awarded to them. I still believe that Brazil is the favorite to win the match because they dominate the game and not allowing Norway to hold the ball although Haaland have had one shot on target while Brazil have had so many shots on target. The first half is almost over and score remains goalless. Many goals will come second half of the game as I don't see extra time in this match.

The proof that Brazil has never been able to win has been revealed again in this match, because Brazil has made the most stupid mistake by missing a penalty at the beginning. This is effective for Brazil to fail in their own performance. Brazil is still playing well but I don't know where their game will end up,
but if Brazil takes the game to penalties then the result is a crime because the possibility of Norway losing is very low. Because if they cannot win by competing on the field of play, then this match of Brazil today may be the last match.

The first half ended with a 0-0 score, both teams started the match with unexpected situations, Norway's goal in just 3 minutes was offside, and Brazil missed a penalty in the 10th minute, which was very unexpected and disappointing, after that the game continued normally, Brazil is trying to attack well, but Norway's attack seems very weak to me, they are not able to attack strongly, but at the very last moment Norway had a good chance, they also shot, but the goalkeeper failed it brilliantly. Anyway, I am now waiting for the second half, let's see when we see the first goal.

Ajer, what kind of fool are you? If you slide in for the ball like that, Cunha is going to throw himself down and win a penalty.
He conceded a penalty while Norway was the team applying the pressure, but goalkeeper Nyland saved Guimarães's spot-kick, so the score remains 0-0.
Norway is playing a very resilient game here.
It wouldn't be a surprise at all if Norway advanced to the next round.

Norway is the better team here because they are playing like they are more prepared to advance to the next round so it wouldn't be surprising if Brazil gets eliminated. Guimarães missed a penalty that would have given Brazil a lead, he probably played the penalty out of tension. I know that if Brazil doesn't qualify they will blame it all on Guimarães.

Honestly, Paraguay players were very rough of France players but the referee seems to be lenient with them and not give them any yellow card but Brazil players were shown 3 yellow cards even though they were not as aggressive as Paraguay, that's really a very poor officiating by the referee. Thanks to the penalty scored by Kylian Mbappe, otherwise they would have played full time draw.

Yeah, true they are quite resilient but Odegaard would have to stop missing chances and step up his game because you can't have the likes of Haaland, Nusa and the others putting in effort only for their captain to balloon it or kill counters that should be lead to goals. Brazil are equally not ready to allow the Vikings get the best of them. After Guimares lost the penalty, they didn't relent and kept mounting the pressure. An interesting first half it was but I hope to see more in the second half.

I am still trying to figure out why Bruno will be taking the penalty for Brazil when Vini Jr is on the field, I will rather Casemiro take the penalty than fir Bruno to take it.
It's been an exciting match but I think that penalty miss by Brazil might end up hunting them in the future because it will only take one clean chance for the big man Erling Haaland to score.

As far as I know, while Sørloth plays as a striker for Atlético Madrid, he plays more like a wide forward for the Norwegian national team.
This causes him to be ineffective.
He looked very sluggish on the wing. If I were the manager, I would have taken him off.
Nusa, the left-sided forward, is good at beating his man, but the balls he loses create serious danger.
Norway needs to play carefully. Brazil could take control of the game as the match progresses.

It's a little bit boring first half, Brazil wasted a very good opportunity with a penalty to open the score sheet. They had another chance with Martinelli but he lacked of a little bit pace for touching the ball and making a headshot. In that situation, if Martinelli could made his headshot, likely he would have scored a goal for Brazil in very late minutes of the first half.

With Norway, they were well organized and had a good chance for Odegaard but Becker, the goalkeeper of Brazil made a great save. Haaland played well in that situation as a decoy too but Becker simply was excellent in that situation.

Neymar is not used and I hope that he will be sent in for the second half, Brazil looks to lack of ideas for attacking while Vinicius seems to be controlled well at the left swing of Norway.
