A few years back i have 0 doubts about Lamine Yamal becoming another legend of football or at least being among the best ones, but right now and after how is evolving his way of play and how it was affected by the increase of his own height i start to have some doubts, in this world cup he was the player i was expecting i know he arrives to the world cup with some minors injuries but i still beleive he can do much more.

I believe that if he has consistency, hard work and determination, then he has the potential to be recorded in the list of legends. Since he is a very young player, he will still have to be on the field for a long time. That is why it will be difficult to be sure so quickly because if there is an injury or any other problem during this long period, it may not be possible again. Moreover, becoming older, it becomes difficult to maintain consistency. Though one can be a little more confident about him than others, the matter will become clear over time. There are some players who do very well in some matches and their condition is bad in some matches. However, they have to have the consistency and the mentality to work hard until they reach the goal, otherwise they will fall behind later.

It’s interesting to be writing this about a footballer, but he’s grown far too tall. If he can’t adapt to his new height this year, his career will likely go into decline and he won’t reach his potential. I too am now annoyed to see Gianni Infantino in this position. This annoyance has increased after watching the World Cup full of controversies. Giving an extra advantage to any team against the rules is definitely a crime. Even the recently concluded World Cup had a touch of politics which should not be in the field of sports. There were many controversies in this World Cup including the injustice done to Iranian footballers, the red card of the US forward being overturned at the call of Trump and many more. Even the final match was full of controversies where I heard allegations of match-fixing, although there is no basis for it. I now want to see a new person in this position who will be honest and free from the influence of politics.

I never like anything to interfere in sports and if there is a problem in sports for some reason, I never like that problem. During this World Cup, we have seen a lot of criticism and many people think that the FIFA President has a hand in some places in this World Cup. Speaking of the 2030 World Cup and the six host teams, there will actually only be three, but the opening matches will be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay... which means all of these countries automatically qualify for the World Cup. I haven't seen anyone paying attention to this, but the question is: what will the CONMEBOL qualifying tournament become then? Without three teams, it will be a pure Mickey Mouse tournament.
