Well this league for me is for veterans. All of the people that want to retire go here to earn a few extra bucks because they give the most. But no young player wants to come here to progress in football because the league dosent have quality but i wouldnt be shocked if they paid uefa to join the european championships. But still if they continue like this it will be in the top 10 leagues

the Saudi Pro League is just going to be a pretty highly competitive league in Asia nothing more, and if anyone is touting that they could be one of the best leagues in the world it's bullshit. Bringing old players to their league is clearly the goal only to increase the value of their country and league so they can win the 2030 World Cup election. If we talk from other factors, it's not just the 2030 world cup that is their target. there are many agendas that are being carried out by the Saudis, for now they are engaged in the football industry. that's why, they are willing to spend a lot of money. at least, for now Saudi has become the concern of the eyes of the world and not only from certain cultural and religious centers. now through football, Saudi can get more attention by the world.

The Chinese super league officials or the governing body of sport on the country came up with a policy that discouraged players from going to the league and that's why they flopped from the transfer market. Chinese super league during their years of reign and popularity had more impact than Saudi Arabia league currently. Atleast during the Chinese super league reign they attracted young players as well as old players. I remember Oscar who was playing for Chelsea moving to China at his prime. Of a truth the European based footballers that's been signed to the Saudi Arabian League are all veteran's who are nearing the end of their playing career.
That been said, that shouldn't make anyone think that the league is largely occupied by players over the ages of 30 years because there are so many young Arabian footballers in the league and other young players from other Asian countries in the league and very soon some young European based young players are gonna be joining the league

They joined the league when they only have a last few seasons in their career. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema are special and outstanding with their discipline in training, diets to keep their career long like now and they are still able to play very well.

There are some young players in Saudi Professional League will learn a lot from these veteran players but I am very doubtful that two or three veteran players from Europe can improve quality of the league when they play there as well as in future. Not all young players can learn from those veteran players and with a few young players who successfully learn something from those veterans, it's not enough to bring Saudi Professional League to a higher level.
