So this round of questions was much less work to research because there are only five questions. I'm on a vacation so I didn't have time to do the proper research. My goal for this season is to pass the first round. It will be better result than the last season and I don't wanna pressure my players too much. They need to rest for the league games

That is what I was telling myself after loosing in qualifying round    Truth is, I am notoriously bad in cup competitions and I always drop out early.

I have some prime examples from fantasy football where I managed to loose against the guy that stopped playing half a year ago but his goalkeeper was the only one keeping some big team like City at bay and ended the game with 20 points. Of course there was penalty saves and what not.

Submitted my picks early, if I'm not mistaken there's no need for VAR anyway because all games happen after deadline according to Google.

Ludogorets and tennis are the hardest questions IMO, but if things happen as they have so far, then expectations for me are the same

Considering that the Cup winner's payout equals the Top 3 position in the Division 2, I'm going all in on the Cup.
I've had disappointing results in the league recently, but the cup draw has been kind to me and has offered me a passable opponent.

I hope for an easy win to get some momentum back. I don't even want to think about what a loss would mean to the morale of my team.

That was exactly my thought when I saw the questions: finally a round where I bascially don't have to research anything which suits me perfectly since I am on holiday for the rest of the month.

Get a remote job where you work your ass off 11 months a year with no free weekends so you can enjoy 1 month per year. Not sure if it is the best tradeoff and I might consider job with more light work load as I am not getting any younger.

Now that UEFA qualifications are getting into 2nd/3rd round I hope we will continue to get "normal" questions with no odd sports so we don't have to Google too much.

Getting DQed at this point wouldn't be a great way to bow out of the competition, especially that am looking forward to getting past round 2 of the cup.

I don't really understand this question. We don't decide if answer is late, clock decides that. Deadline is always at the same time. All questions that are ongoing at that time are giving 0 points to the person that answered late. Only exception is H2H question in rare situation where his opponent also did not get any correct picks. Than it is another -1 point in the table for the latecomer. We feel that is punishment enough at this stage.


That being said, cup has only 5 questions and those that are late for cup are out immediately. They would have probably be either way with our regular rules but this way we are getting you used to future seasons and tougher rules against tardiness

I'm not sure if I understood the question right, but I think that those being late are disqualified is OK. It doesn't help any other than their direct opponent in this round so I'm OK with it.

As for the questions, I see that there are many of us who thinks that questions are easy. It will be interesting to see the answers...

EDIT: I just checked the table. It looks like Danydee and I have totally different answers. If I saw right, we have all but one question different. May the best team win and may it be my team

3-0 is the default result if your opponent fails to submit, yes.
If he submits late he can lose with a smaller margin, or even draw/win.

From next season every late submission will be a straight 3-0 loss.
