I believe we had a similar question like this last season and I went with a NO answer because I felt like someone was going to screw up at least once, but to my surprise, all of the favourites won by a large margin, so I went with a Yes answer this time because I didn't want to make the same mistake again. Most of these countries in Europe do not have professional football players; instead, they have part-time players who only play when there is a national game and then return to their jobs as doctors and farmers. The only possible upset is between San Marino -Kazakhstan; the rest are simply walkovers.

Turkey and Kazakhstan lead by one goal, England by 3, France and Swiss I do not follow anymore since it would take a miracle for their opponents to score

but Denmark could be that one to lead to NO as answer, although they need points after last round fail against Kazakhstan

NI disallowed for offside after several minutes, and Turkey scored another in overtime

and it is YES in the end, but could end up being NO as well, these two were far from being short of entertainment

Those last few minutes were a rollercoaster, I thought the round was over for me when I saw Turkey and Denmark concede a goal and then checked back once more to see Turkey back in the lead, and Denmark gets rescued by the VAR.

And that wasn't even the biggest headline because the ref stopped the game before allocated time due to antigay chants (game was paused, as per new rules, and then cancelled if chants continue).

WTF??? This is some new rule or something? Is it just in CONCACAF or in all football? Because there are many anti-something chants in Europe and I have never seen a football game cancelled because of that. The only penalty for that is opening a disciplinary procedure for the nation/club whose fans were involved.

If I understand it correctly, it's actually "old" rule that match abandoned when players/refs/fans are at risk, but the "new" rule includes abuse and harassment because it doesn't need to be physical now. Something like that but I think racist comments in Europe have resulted in matches been abandoned or postponed. Remember Champions League a few seasons ago, referee said something racist and the match was called off. PSG was involved and walked off. They were not punished, which you usually are if you walk off.

Hah, when Latvia equalised in 94th minute I immediately thought of your post, but unfortunately for you (and fortunately for me) that didn't last for long. From what i can see I am in 4:0 lead so you don't have any room for error if you want to win this.

That's exactly my reasoning behind going "yes" this time as last time I went with "no" and it proved to be wrong. I hesitated a little bit though because of Latvia-Turkey game which in the end proved to be the troublesome one.

I had 8 points last week but it should have been as easy 9 points for because, I shouldn't have missed Jokic's FG% in one of the NBA questions but I don't know how I missed out on including it... I think someone else have had a better score last season except I'm mixing it up with the players who went unscathed for the season.

I think it's just a matter of time before someone eventually gets a perfect score, but those H2H can be a minefield or boobytraps most times, and as such making it very difficult to have a flawless round.

And that is precisely what we want to accomplish with this competition. Bunch of guys watching games they would otherwise probably miss and discussing it here True roller coaster of emotions, now imagine this round was towards the end of the season and this was last question. That is the stuff to gun for.

Would have been even better if more of participants went for No. I was writing this question and tried to include precisely the right amount of favorites to get 50:50 spread but I underestimated people tendency to go for favorites.

The Latvia - Turkey match was also quite exciting especially in the second half. That equalizer to make it 2-2 in the stoppage time must have made the people who picked "Yes" really unhappy. But it didn't last long either because in only a minute or so Turkey scored the winner.    Denmark and Turkey must have made everyone very nervous after those moments with high adrenaline. Congrats to who picked "Yes". At least my opponent made the same pick so I didn't lose in this question.

It is another day for a question related to Euro 2024 qualifiers. I hope to see Belgium putting on a good show by a big win and leading the match to end over 3.5 goals.

that was a big moment in the game, but Latvia had VAR review for penalty at 1:1, and Turkey scored just after the VAR finished
at that point, I thought that match is finished, but Latvia proved to be harder nut to crack that just this scoring

nevertheless, congrats to Turkey for winning this, combined with Wales losing at home against Armenia, it seems that Turkey will see Euro next year
