I'm playing a very challenging match against mitchr4 this week. When I checked our answers I saw that we had different answers on exactly 6 different questions and I got very surprised. I hope that I can be the side to make the most amount of correct predictions. It has surprised me that generally there are this many people who believe Arsenal won't lose at this weekend. I think Manchester City will win comfortably at the weekend.

Not much separating myself and Hhampuz, so I hope to get an early lead through Poland today. Lewandovski should make the difference in a game like this.

Quite a high number of casualties this round, I must say, like last round. Feels like we've been bleeding late submissions recently in top divisions. Those tennis late games aren't worth waiting for, to be honest, gentlemen, just submit early, don't think too much about "wasting" VARs. 12 rounds left and most of us still have 2. I think it's plenty.

darxiaomi, our minds are alike this round, we both didn't like Ruud, and he's already out. Still, we made the some choice for >90% of our picks. Swiatek would have brought me a precious point, but you used up all your luck.

Now our round rests firmly on Napoli, Zverev, and City/Arsenal. This means there cannot be a draw between us, as it's not possible to tie on our H2Hs. The way it should always be.

Dropping out covers elimination. All forfeits later refers to post submission deadline. We all understood what this meant, but you'd need to see past tennis questions in previous seasons for context.

I didnt watch the first half but it looks like a tight match.
In other match Iceland scoring first against Ukraine is not something I expected, but there is still time in second half.

So far so good for my far-too-early submission. Tennis is really the only one I need to look out for. It's a bit crazy paying attention to games before the round starts... but you know, I want to brave as I head towards ruin. Ignored my instincts for upsets this round, I backed a hell lot of favourites, so I laboured long and hard on the last q. City has to win, don't they? But Arsenal are hungrier, aren't they? Aren't they?!?!

I had to place a substantial and heavy arbitrary bet on Manchester City to win and picked Arsenal or draw in the pool, but I now realised that my opponent chose the same option, thus it's now a do-or-die situation for Manchester City.

Halaand and Ode have been a dick throughout the international game; I saw their game and these two are avoiding tackle situations; they both have their sights set on the league and don't give a fuck about their international game.

Not really, at least not so early in the tournament. The odds on her losing against Alexandrova were over 8.
Now we're just experienced enough to cover all possible angles most of the time

Ukraine is something else at the moment, just when I thought Iceland would try to hold their 1st half lead till somewhere around the 60th minute when goals usually come but the comeback kings had other ideas, first half goal disallowed and then ~9 minutes from the break of the the first half these guys equalise and I had my fingers crossed that they would play extra time and win it from there...but that 84th Mudryk goal just denied me a valuable point and am now waiting for a Wales qualification to get on the scoreboard, let's go team Wale's, can't lose two valuable points in a role!!!

I was planning on playing her to not win the tournament so I feel a bit robbed by the void. On the other hand I expected her to loose against someone much better then Alexandrova, would have never predicted an exit this early.

Same answers on question #5 although I was actually leaning towards curry to score over 75 points but decided not to go with that. Thats expecting curry to score atleast 25 points on each game

After a setback I hope to add points again, in the question of total goals I went 3-4 believing that there would not be many goals after their last games last week, but there were 10 goals and thanks to Poland I am 2-2 for now this round.
Today I hope for a first victory for the Warriors and many points for Curry, and I will also be looking out for Zverev today because he is the only one who makes the difference in the tennis question.

I'm still alive mate, there is no room for complacency for you, I'll be on your trail all season long, until the wheels fall off. That said, strongkored have gotten the better of me after 3 games with a 2-1 lead, Ukraine again letting me down, they should won this game in grand style, or at least go extra time then, anyways there is still more than enough question for me to get even and retake a possible lead.

Well, I'm glad I didn't because my odds aren't looking good after we both lost Q3, and you're currently up 2-1 after 3 questions. Daniel James ruined everything; you can take away someone out of Manchester United, but you can't take their terrible penalty habit away. Wales were the better team but got stuck with inexperienced players.

Don't worry, I also played her not to win the tournament even without knowing that she already got kicked out, so it wouldn't give you any advantage over me

As for the rest of our answers, this is the round with only two different answers and one of them was the third question which both of us got wrong. That leaves us with only one different answer (I can't believe) and its man's tennis. I have Sinner not to qualify for the semi-finals and you have Ruud.

Man, what a season... In every f*cking round I have only two or three different answers than my opponent.

EDIT: Oh shit! Your Ruud already got kicked out of the tournament by N. Jarry (I have no idea who that player is). Now I really hope that Sinner loses to Machač so I get away with a draw.
