Finally it is time for some action.    As far as I can see my opponent had a little better run in the regular season than me. I will really need to prepare my team as strong as possible for this matchup. I hope I can make it to the semi finals. Good luck @goodpunt. 

I looked into the questions in this round and the general look is positive for me. 8 football questions and 2 questions related to NFL - NHL sports. I must admit that I don't follow the last 2 sports I mentioned.    But I will do my best by doing some research and then answering the questions.

I don't feel very confident since my cup/playoff record is 0-2 and my usual approach to go against the odds favs failed me big last time but I can't change my tactics (new coach is too expensive)

It's a new format, it started last year. It's in the questions mostly because we have the Superbowl coming, and because it's being played according to the Flag rules, which might be interesting for those that never watched a game like this (myself included).

We'll count only the last match, that's how the competition works. You can find more about it here.

So here is how the scoring works.

First, the winning conference from each of the eight skills events — Dodgeball, Lightning Round, Longest Drive, Precision Passing, Best Catch, Gridiron Gauntlet, Move the Chains, and Kick Tac Toe — secures three points for their team. A total of 24 points are available over the eight events.

Second, two flag football games are played on Sunday, with the winning team earning six points for their conference. A total of 12 points are available over these two games.

Finally, the points accumulated from the eight skills events, and the first two flag football games, will serve as the starting score for the final event of the week, the third flag football game. The team that ends up winning the third and final flag football game will win The Pro Bowl Games.

So, for example, say the AFC wins Dodgeball, Lightning Round, Longest Drive, Precision Passing and Best Catch. That would give them 15 points, and the NFC nine points.

Then, the teams split the first two flag football games, giving each conference six points.

That means the starting score for the third and final flag game would be AFC 21 and NFC 15. From there, the game is played, and if the NFC can make up that six-point deficit, they would win The Pro Bowl Games. If not, the AFC would be crowned champions.

Upcoming round questions, NFL will be wild guess for me, as I have no clue about it. NHL question is tough too because it's not even regular games, but all star game.

I assume that he forgot about sending predictions because of the one-week cup break we had. As I also forgot about sending predictions on the 2nd week I'm quite away from the championship race this year.

My recommendation to everyone is to set an alarm on your phones. My alarm rings at 18.30 GMT every Tuesday.By the way I don't have any idea about the NFL and NHL questions. I just answered them randomly.

Will double check since mobile is not the perfect tool for looking at the spreadsheets but if it is true that means big changes in Div 2. He is out and all his games are 3:0 without fight. lucky you if you lost points against him earlier and though luck if you did not. Biggest problem with late submissions is the effect on other players, there is always someone who feels hard done with RNG.

What actually happened was that I submitted it on around 17.10 ish iirc, then after that I checked my name on spreadsheet and it wasnt there. I refreshed it few times then its still not there. After I checked bitcointalk and read cryptoafrka's post, I thought that I passed the deadline and my answer wasnt accepted or some sort.

I even goes through the GMT website just to make sure that it hasnt pass 18.00 yet then after checking that, I opened the question form again and my answers were all saved on the form so I decided to click submit once more.  This is very unfair to some people.  I still don't understand why someone can't go through a questionnaire for just 10 minutes and submit. Just because you're on relegation zone,  doesn't mean you should just abandone submitting there by jeopardising other people effort. Actually 8 because Trofo drew against Kanapka so thats extra 2 points from Kanapka. Luck is part of the game so yeah he is pretty lucky, aside from Kanapka I havent get a single player that failed to submit on the respective round against me


So what actually happens when someone from division 2 dropped out? Does that makes Kanapka as one of the relegated candidate leaving 3 other relegation spot or does that means there will be still bottom 4 players that will be relegated aside from him?

I actually thought he was the one that I already got points from, did not check before this and was complaining about it a bit to cryptofrka. I cal that RNG, it sometimes goes your way and sometimes it does not. I remember when I had 7 correct answers and only managed a draw which would have been comfortable win in any other duel. You just have to accept it. People had wins with two correct and others loose with 6. No way around it. This is the same but worse since it is avoidable. There is also people submitting nonsense answers sometimes.

He is the last one in the league, same as if he regularly finished on that position. 2 more direct relegations and 1 will have a play off with div 3.

Ok I think it is time to congratulate vd309 for this solid win this round. We have Tuesday just a couple of hours after the submission deadline and the BSFL week is over for us!

I have no idea what is going on, but knowing that Luton is beating Brighton 4-0 let's me sleep better because there is no point in complaining and asking myself how Newcastle can lead 3-0 in this game against one of the strongest home teams in the Premier League and after Newcastle had lost four subsequent games. Brutal!
