It seem like an unusual calm before the storm in here, there's just been a handful of answers submitted until now, are we looking at a major no submission or it's the Tennis everyone is keeping an eye out for ?

I think that 20 people are yet to submit their answers. I almost forgot because no one posted here and the bot didn't remind me. Thankfully I remembered to submit, but I'm not sure what to expect from this round. Maybe it's best to expect a loss and then be surprised if I win

I don't see why would anyone wait for tennis this week. All the favorites are playing tomorrow and only one whose match was worth seeing is over. Not gonna comment more before the deadline but really looking forward to seeing what he can do. I submitted quite early for my standards today, had to leave work a bit earlier.

If anyone wanted to back Rublev, it would have made sense to wait since he played today, unexpectedly he lost his match, I wouldn't have backed him anyways, I had Nadal and Tsitsipas, despite being in the same bracket, I guess I fancy either of them than anyone from the 2nd seed bracket. Anyone taking a risk with Nadal too would have had enough time to reconsider their choice since they can see him play today, and predict whether or not he stands a chance against the rest from his bracket, provided he stays fit.

So close on picking Nadal then I decided to just go with classic Tsitsipas and Ruud for the final because this is Nadal's first tournament after injury so Im not really sure how far will he progress in this tournament. Meanwhile those two were incredible on the last tournament so Im expecting atleast Tsitsipas will be able to get through to the final again

Heck I can't believe that I picked Tsitsipas all over again after decided not to ever pick him as my answers, I hope this better be a good decision

Nadal was the one I was talking about. Nadal in Barcelona, even if not match fit and playing his first clay match in what 2 years maybe, still is gonna be force to contend with. Rublev is out of form currently and never even crossed my mind. The two of them played one set in training and Nadal won 6:1. Rublev said that he couldn't even be a proper training partner for Nadal so....

I would not pick Rublev on clay if he was the only top 50 player there. He lost, no surprise there - I feel this will be between Ruud and Tsitsipas again.

My current position is very difficult as I am in the relegation zone. Although the round has just started, it seems that it will be difficult to reach the middle and even the top position.

Ready or not, I must be ready to face you and I should win.

Yeah, I thought the exact same way, so went for the Aussie, I want Nadal to win this of course, but there's so much lost when you've been out for so long. Still, happy to lose if it means I get to see Nadal going all the way.

Just opened the spreadsheet and it's interesting to see that very few believe in Arsenal getting the job done over Bayern Munich, and am wondering if this choice is influenced based on the weekend result of Villa winning or the majority of us just don't think Arsenal has the capacity to beat a Bayern team on their turf... Otherwise let's go Bayern, the Elephant must go!!

I have some good news for you before the game Dortmund - Atletico began: Donny Malen is injured. I was counting on him being in the team, but he was ruled out due to a thigh injury I think. Haller is missing because of his ankle although I knew that before. But Malen is a key player in my opinion. You might be good to go with your draw here. Let's find out!

The simple game of chance means you go with the 4 teams that surely play another game if they lose. Any other pick is an unnecessary gamble.
I'm curious to see how many people went with the other 4 teams, my opponent went with 1 of them which gives me a statistical advantage at least.

2 out of 50+ is actually decent, that's less than 4%.
Surely we'd like it to be 100%, last round we had it, but as long as we're 100% in the first 2 Divisions (which is mostly the case) we're good.

Considering that the Cup has decent rewards, we'll probably remove the teams with late submissions from the cup as well from next season onwards - but that's probably the last lever we can pull to make Div3 players submit.
Lower rewards always means lower interest and the Cup is their golden ticket, maybe that one will work.

One of the reason that I decided to skip him. He is great but against De Minaur is going to be a complete different story that we all loved to imagine

Well Tuchel got nothing left on his plate except for UCL so if he wants to keep his job, the only way to do it would be to win the UCLl though I doubt this is possible with either City or Madrid still in the race

Congrats mate! Tomorrow games should be an easier round for BTTS, at least on paper it should be, rather than that of tonight. I was able to garner something off my freebies to from Barcelona Open, with a double on Sebastian Ofner from yesterday and Nadal -4.5 Handicap today. I'll surely back him see off De Minaur as well, perhaps not in a completely dominant fashion.

With six different questions left, it makes the outcomes wild, but you're likely to get one point from the Tennis question, as Rublev is already eliminated, Tsitsipas and Ruud are the favorites for the final this time but I expect them to be eliminated before the final because often players who have been to the final in previous tournaments are bad in the next event.

Sancho doing great too, despite his flop performance in Man Utd. 6 different answers of 8 remaining questions really getting me excited in this round. I agree. I didn't want to submit yesterday just because of the tennis question. But I didn't even check the schedule. I normally always wait for Tuesday to submit when there is tennis involved.

Well the last one was tennis and it seems in BSFL this is the one most common for VAR. Its not even about whether people are playing but sudden withdrawals. In tennis many times and even in snooker it happened once already. I didn't want to wait personally but it felt important not only to confirm not to pick Zverev but Nadal but also for unexpected withdrawals
