I get it but that's not the point. At least you two guys were safe from unnecessary discussions because whoever joins the competition can't complain later down the road as it is clearly written in the rules. If they don't read it, not your problem. That's why I mentioned it. But if you then gotta say "look on page 483, there we said it", well, I could understand when someone is salty then.

Yep, agreed, BSFL is becoming bigger and bigger and it's only 2 of us, so there are occasional gaps that we still need to fill/are sometimes lazy to fill due to other more important work waiting for us.

Thanks for adding the rule that it's clear to everyone, it's not meant to be discriminatory or hostile to women, but for me it was always clear anyway that the sports (if it wasn't explicitly mentioned) meant men's sports.

But now it should be clear to everyone or they haven't read the page with the rules, my first round was modest, maybe my next one will be better and thanks for the free VAR, but I don't know if I'll use it yet.

Getting a draw isn't so great start to the season but better than losing at least.    If only Ledecky didn't win another gold medal... But I must admit it wasn't easy to get that draw too. All thanks to the 9th question. 

I have checked the questions for Round 2 now. Finally we have more football questions thanks to the start of the new season. If I fail in Olympics questions maybe they can save me.

I will have to do some research about Noah Lyles and waterpolo though.    I see that my division started with 4 draws by the way, interesting...

Nice of you to point out to this great milestone. BSFL really kicked into the gear even better than we hoped for. Soon we will get 10k replies in the thread as well. This will be the season for milestones it seems.

We don't really want to bother you with statistics but we do send them to Sportsbet - so just letting you know that BSFL is on 26th place in most comments made in over 8200 threads on the gambling boards (top 0.3%).
Considering that it is not a spam megathread and that it's here for only a little over 1 year, that is a really fantastic result

Fixed! Sorry about that.
I calculated it correctly for the freebet and LMS but for some reason painted both red and then didn't calculate it in the end result.

It will be corrected in the tables after the next round.

I've never assumed wrong in BSFL before. I've definitely done Forced Errors (where I somehow misread something) but I think the rules have always been clear over the seasons on what the assumption is, if not specified.

I can't complain. UCL is the same, despite a far simpler representation of results, with old rules in OP or in the submission sheet on Page 1, people still ask about OT Also, if not specified, Cro2 cheats. Hot tip.

It is quite bad for me to start the first week with a loss. Congratulations to LTU_btc for his victory. He absolutely deserved it. I'm guilty as I couldn't make an objective decision on the Fenerbahçe question. I'm feeling myself very bad for this season. It is very early to talk about this. But when we think about I have some work to do during the season too, it would be enough for me if I don't relegate this season.

What a crazy game, i was not following it at all because i know i lose the poin on that question, but damn what a rain of goals.

I win my game in this round with a super game also 6-5 against Harkorede, super game.

It was an interesting first round in BSFL for sure. There was quite a few questions that gathered a lot of interest around them. I know I would never have watched 800m freestyle for women if there wasn't BSFL.

That really was a crazy game to be honest it came down to wire, and the Odds went against me, lol. You had an amazing start and I didn't even picture myself getting that close, and with last question a draw was already out of the question there has to be a winner since we went on the opposite side of Alcaraz vs Djokovic.

To add to what everyone had said, this really is the be start to the BSFL since inception going by how the question went, that could be as result of some atypical questions, but kudos to the Trofo and cryptofrka for the question, I believe the spent more time on analyzing and setting those questions than they did with negotiating for the season to happen

The wait was worth it for the water polo playoffs matchups, I almost gave a free advantage to my opponent if I submitted a few hours early. 

Seeing our team name at the bottom of the standings is a nice motivation for a bounce back and hopefully, my luck against former Div 1 teams is still there.

Oh, this one actually has a story behind it.
The initial question was 'Name the Olympic winners in male categories in the following sports: Handball, Waterpolo, Volleyball. Use the following format: France, Croatia, Slovenia. This is a H2H question.'

Saturday, 9 PM - I ask Trofo to check the questions for the last time.
T: Questions are ok if the finals are all on Sunday.
C: Surely they are, I checked, they always are and the closing ceremony is on Sunday.
T: Doesn't matter, football was played before the opening.
C: Shit, you're right, let me check again.

Not sure how it happened that I checked basketball, saw that the final was on 10th, thought that was Sunday, saw that the finals for Waterpolo and Handball are on the 11th and changed the question 3 min before posting.
Frustrating, would have been a much better question in the previous format, and would also be a lot easier to rate

Still, the question remains valid..
