It will be against @imarios or @Saint-loup, currently @Saint-loup is 1 goal ahead but in the remaining 2 questions they have different answers, so there's still a possibility that your opponent will be @imarios. TBH, I wanted certain results like this in the league, but what I got didn't match my expectations, I can't remember how many times in a row I got 1 point .

Another Alfaro masterclass, to stop Brazil, he amde it with Costa Rica in the last American Cup and he do it again with this weak Paraguay, he is a master in defensive play and in national teams his style is more powerfull. He make a super Ecuador in the apst a good Costa Rica for a few games and now seems like this PAraguay is gonna be again a super hard to bite bone.

I trust in him and also i know this brazil is a fucking joke, the worst i remember, and Vinicius..... you dont deserve the Ballon d Or with this performances for national team.

When I checked the results this morning, I thought you might still have a chance to make a comeback, but I just realized that we answered the same on question  nr 4, which means you can't catch up to me anymore.

That is a nice place to be. Resting casually and watching other guys compete. I think that would have be my favorite thing if I was a pro tennis player. You win your match, take a shower and short recuperation and then you watch the match between your opponents to make tactics all the way hoping they will and up playing it till tie break of 5th set 

Also don't know my opponent yet but I hope it will be ILuckyGuyI, looking at their respective answers I feel like I would have much easier time in Round 2 against him than against Vivekdhyani1.

Damn, I switched from Paraguay not to lose to Brazil winning with 1GD.
This puts me and Igebotz in a weird situation - we have the same answers for 7 initial penalties so the minute of the 1st goal in the Hull - Sheffield game will be the decider.

Any goal before the 40th minute and I'm out, so I think I'm saying farewell to the Cup early once again.

I didn't even flinch when I picked both Argentina and Brazil, it's not as though my situation would have been better if Brazil had won anyways, since I missed the first two questions which B1g4udge got both correctly, now I'm hanging by a thread.

I'm lucky that this was not a league round because I don't think I would have escaped falling in the LMS, now it's time to get over the BSFL international break and prepare for league resumption.

Thanks mate and yes it ended really quick because of having the same answers to the remaining questions.    I really needed this win as the season has been going on terrible for me so far. Now it looks like my next opponent in the cup is going to be Spack17 or dbshck. I'm going to prepare my team well for the next round as well. Now it is time for us to concentrate on the league again. We have a really tough work to do about climbing the positions.

I can’t help but agree that the Brazilian team of the last couple of years is literally deserving of every critics it has received from not just the media but the national team legends and iconic figures, I for once used to think the team legends were being so hard and overly demanding of the new generation of players, but their performance has shown that they’re barely just above average in terms of performance despite having a real expensive squad all playing at the one of the best clubs in their respective leagues. I think a decent performance and zeal to win a match is the least should always display.

Well, they might be better than the senior one - simply because everything else is.
They are still shit tho, can't score a single goal and half of the game has passed already.

It's really quite shocking as there is hardly any nation that has a constant stream of new natural talents being raised year after year and yet they can't reasonably compete in the CONMEBOL area. I sometimes it is almost impossible how in club football Chelsea and Manchester United are messing it up despite these horrendous financial investments they are making every season, but Brazil is an even worse case. 10 points after 8 games in the World Cup qualification is hard to explain. Got kicked out in the first round of the knockout stages at the Copa America. It doesn't look as if there is a lot about to change in the near future.

Impossible to say for sure. Injuries again have kept him out for almost another year of his career and he may not play football till the end of 2024. He is definitely not the player he used to be and his move to Saudi suggests he is not trying to get back to challenging for personal or club accomplishments. I will not be surprised if Brazil moves to build their squad around Vini.

Yes no doubt that they are going to build it around Vini. Neymar is not the key player anymore, but I was wondering whether they would get him on board once again. But when you consider his lifestyle and his whole attitude towards the sport, I think the amount of money that these guys earn these days really spoils them. You can find all kinds of numbers when you google for his salary, but he is making something in the range of 100m to 150m or 200m per year all income sources combined. Why the heck would somebody like him give his soul for the sport when he is making 8.5m - 17m million per month? Jesus Christ these numbers are insane and guy is getting paid even when he is sitting on the bench or resting his ankle on his couch at home...

Well in fact Argentina had a few very good chances to draw the game , plus the penalty..... was not really a clear one. I feel really good anyways with the team, seems like we can have a good new era without Messi after the 2026 world cup. Scaloni is full trying some players and looking for the best, we have the raw material.
