It's indeed a lot harder to win that mickey mouse cup (aka AFCON) when you are Seychelles, Somalia, or one of the other footballing powerhouses of that calibre that you certainly don't lack.

Lol those teams you mentioned are not considered football nations and they don't bother competiting in higher competitions - they're not in top 50 and I've never seen them in AFCON unlike San Marino and the rest

In this match only one missed penalty by Harry Kane.
Now Dump3er and I are on 4 points each with all remaining replies being the same; it's going to be an ended draw, which is also decent for both. I made a few mistakes but still have a good result and an unbeaten record at the end of 3 rounds. Good start for the team in this season.

Challenges are increasing but teams needs to be stay on good level for having good results in this season.

I believe he meant "costly now England"...

I don't know who to hold the current grudge I'm feeling towards, if it's Kane or England as team generally, Kane could have put them ahead by 2 goals, which would have meant a draw at case scenario, or the team collectively could have done better after getting pecked back to no lose the game, neither happened.

This one point completely feels like a loss to me, and because I was already in a comfortable state only for me to lose it at the end.

I mixed them up while typing. It was Kanr who missed the only penalty of the game for England which allowed Spain back in the game.

Kane could have put them ahead by 2 goals, which would have meant a draw at case scenario, or the team collectively could have done better after getting pecked back to no lose the game, neither happened.

I somehow think Spain would have had enough to still come back from 2 goals. England would have sat back more inviting pressure from the best nation in world football.

The momentum was already good for England when they made a comeback in the first half after an unexpected quick goal from Lamine but Kane's missed penalty changed the situation when several players were substituted and was very effective.

Good substitutions from Spain due to the presence of Alex Baena and Oyarzabal on the field make Spain's midfield more active because Dani Olmo's role becomes easier and more directed to the flank which makes Spain stronger in their midfield.

After 2 series it looks like this round I will lose but there are still some matches that are not over and I hope a lot in the rest of the matches because the score I can still chase.

Most of the football questions went so bad for me, Antonelli's crash sealed the deal for you for that question. I don't like Tuchel or the way England is selecting their team for a long time now. There is no denying the quality of the individual players but it just doesn't look good as whole. Not playing Saka in WC semi final is something I will never understand. He played whole game for 3rd game playoff couple of days later so I am almost certain he could have played in semi finals.

We are not ready to enter this conversation but Tuchel is bang average in opinion, he simply was damnn luck with Chelsea in the champions league and that’s one thing that I do think he has won significantly, yes his days at Dortmund too are there to look at but beyond those years I don’t think Tuchel should be leading any ambitious team like England in this era, many will say he got them to the semi Finals in his first major tournament with three lions and I will say it was very much expected because Southgate had already had the team on that path already.

As for Spain I do think I agree with you, it’s without elite stats that you see defensive midfielder winning awards for them. But come to think of it, Spain have been like this since before now they are footballing nation blessed with very good midfielders but have a shitty attack and even this current team is just like that. Individually no standout elite players but overall they undoubtedly the best side in the world

Tuchel wanted to play a safer scheme when they already had the advantage then his scheme changed to a more defensive one but that always backfired which they did.

In the previous game when they were in the World Cup they were destroyed because of this scheme and yesterday the scheme looked the same even though in the game against Spain they wanted to maximize the strength of the midfield but the mistake was that they played too guarding the midfield towards the defensive which made them destroyed because Spain would very easily destroy this scheme with possession and direct passes made.

I think I will need a miracle to win this particular one, because while we are tie at the moment I do think he holds up more advantage than I do.

My score with red4slash is still slim but it is likely that I will also lose because seeing from what is happening in Dota especially with the elimination of XG now makes me lose my chance.

Yandex has already secured itself in the grand final but LGD and Navi surprised me. LGD even barely qualified but in the group phase but the victory against MOUZ seemed to make their mentality rise.
