Aww, poor frka falls into his own traps. Thought Barca might stop at three goals but then Betis scoring two made things really complicated for this question, so another 4 bloody goals with half an hour to play. Not nice, so I rely now on Freiburg, if they manage to hold things down, will win me the round and progress in the Cup. Not sure why I want to lengthen my stay when only pain and disappointment await me in this format.

Wow... With only one scored point I managed to secure at least a draw. If Leverkusen doesn't cover the handicap, I'll advance to the next round. If it covers the handicap, we are going for a penalties.

Barcelona played the type of match I was hoping for to keep my team in it. Even if there was no red card there would have been more goals in that match, maybe more from Betis.
In contrast, the earlier match with the red for Brentford changed that game significantly. Even when do to 9 they still posed a threat, much more than Liverpool did with 10 last week against city.

It's all down to Leverkusen to try and win with just a goal advantage or at worst to win whichever. To them, that will be winning more convincingly to allow us go to penalties.

I just won important point thanks to Barcelona scoring a lot of goals, so I have small advantage in this cup match, but nothing is finished yet.
For tomorrow I have Freiburg not to lose against Bayer Leverkusen, and that was risky move from my side, in addition to Milan vs Atalanta match in sunday.

I'm sure that Brentford has what it takes to beat Liverpool. I'm also not taking the cup too seroiusly, but after a bad start of the season, a win in the first round of the cup would be good for the morale of the team. I just hope the game doesn't end with a boring draw.

Well, we can say the red card helped a lot; Liverpool were clueless and Brentford were all over them before that Red card - that was a weird and a stupid way to get a Red though.

I'm smashing it but it's not over yet - my opponent could still pull the last two games to draw level. I'm up 2:0 now.

Not sure if anybody's watching, it's a really good game. Betis just scored their 2nd goal, they look good offensively this season.

Offcourse I watched it. It was great until ref lost control of it. Red card was right, but it killed game completely. Lo Celso goal was crazy, but it was sad to see it getting cancelled after some handball in early phase of attack.
Now everything depends on Bundesliga game tomorrow. In worst case scenario game will go to penalties.

Those five goals from Barcelona sealed our loss in the cup match. Betis did the opposite of what I needed, and they only upped the tempo after they scored in the first half.

Now to Liverpool, that red card today to Yarmoliuk was it compensation for the Gravenberch unworthy Red card against city because I am sure you also know that it wasn’t an head butt nor was a read card. It's funny how a red card helped Liverpool win this game against Brentford, while a week ago they lost the game against Man City because Gravenberch got sent off. I guess Liverpool learned their lesson a week ago and now they won in the same way

So, I finally bothered to check the spreadsheet and from what I see, looks like we have all 5 different answers which means it could be a very interesting match. I have a slight advantage in tennis question though as Alcaraz is already out.

Yay I already progressed in Cup  Quite lucky for me to meet an opponent with 0 points so far,,, a lot of people have 2 so if I met them I believe Leverkusen would kill me dead before penalties.

Next round cannot come too soon as there is where I need to improve my performances.

Can't believe that both favourites in Shanghai lost to underdogs. In the end, my riskier approach paid off and gave me the victory. Goodpunt, as always, it was a superb fight against you! This time, luck was on my side. Maybe it will continue to smile upon me and get me promoted this season so we can continue our battles . It's already over, you don't have to wait for Bayer game as you have 2-0 lead and with only 1 question left, you won. H2h are penalties, and would be used only in a case of a draw, which we now know can't happen.
