Good thing Napoli and Roma already put me ahead with their draw. It was a roller coaster for me, I started watching when Roma equalized and thought that could be the last of the goals. Napoli came back and I was just happy it wasn't Roma which will give my opponent the point but late on Roma scored again to make it 3 all and give me a 3-2 lead

Worst I can get is a draw if Liverpool wins tomorrow with a goal fest. Any other outcome I will get my first league win of the season.

I picked Swiatek who was out before the deadline, and your Li's only real chance of an upset is Siniakova (methinks).

Siniakova is in the other half of the draw and there is no way she will face Li before the final. So, even if they play each other, their match won't matter for BSFL.

Well, blow me down. I had read the question as "win the tournament" for some reason, and now see they only needed to go to the final. Would probably have changed my mind about the Americans, but too late for that. Li out was a small blessing for me as it keeps me at parity with mv (and I know I'm leading by a point, but I'm assuming I'll lose one before the weekend draws to a close).

FFS, this is why I should always submit later than I do. The thing is, that’s too much of a risk for me forgetting to submit.

I lead 4-2 and in the remaining questions my opponent and I have one identical answer and three different answers so I need to get one of those three right to take the win. I am favourite to take the win now but nothing is guaranteed.

I should start submitting late as I used to - I spot out situations like this easily when I was submitting 2 hours before deadline. My opponent got a free goal on that question and I got nothing for not getting the info earlier; lucky for him that single question kept him in the game and so far we're 3-3

Seriously I wouldn’t have ask for mor befitting bad end to the this week than a possible loss here, I lost to Asiska02 team in the Road to Glory in the champions league edition this same week already and here I am been on the verge of losing yet another game to him again. Best Result I could get would be a draw if Brighton not to lose total over 3.5 goals tomorrow. Seriously I will cherish this Draw even though it wasn’t what I wanted but it will be better than a back to back lose to a noisy neighbor.

I guess that's the perk of not knowing much about that league. I'm pretty sure I would've gone with the same answer as most member here if I actually knew more about it. My answer to that question was completely random.

Is this the first time something like this has happened in BSFL, where only one person got the answer right? This is only my second season here and it's the first time I've experienced something like this. 

All teams do not expect to Estiudiantes and this makes all (except you) fooled by the answer but the surprise did not end well buddy
The victory of this round is mine, the game is left for Liverpool against Brighton but this doesn't change anything for the score we have now.

I've to thanks Roma who fought until the end to make sure the result was a draw in this week's game because looking at the situation on the pitch they were already behind from the start but the goal in the 89th minute saved my answer.

This is actually by far my worst week so far Can still turn out solid but nowhere near my best performances this week. Really need that tennis point and then it is just about Roma and it will be easier to wait for that game.

Unfortunately I can't say the same since my current round is more or less the same as my other matches in the current season.
But I currently have the annoying ability (for my opponents) to drag almost everyone down to my level to grind them down

Anyway, Fils losing against Struff was indeed a surprise and yes to place a monster stake on him would have been quite braindead.
Since I was trading football live anyway, I built myself a freebet on Fils that could have covered my LTD losses (low liability) from Napoli vs Roma -_-
I think I will stop hedging for the remainder of the season lol

Hedging this round didn't work as well as I thought it would, but the combined odds of ~9 on a Napoli-Roma draw and Brighton not to lose with under 3.5 goals will make for a nice consolation prize if I end up losing this round.

Also good result for me as my opponent @MAAManda went with No. I did not even look at odds here I just felt,,, if something special is going on as the mafia explained in the question then it makes sense for it to continue. MOST important of all for me however is that this gives me a pass on LMS finally. Terrible for the heart, this waiting and watching  

Well, I don’t understand things about baseball, so I answered "No" because I thought it was a safe answer. Yet, in reality, the majority of us answered "Yes" to that, which was completely unexpected for me. You’re currently 2 correct answers ahead of my team, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve won this round yet. There are still 3 questions left & we have different answers for all of them. So, we still have a chance, however slim.

Well I think now it is over and it seemed a really good score for me, 5-1 currently and worst I can do is 5-2,,, so safety in LMS is assured plus a good addition to my score differential, so I could not be more happy.

actually, after this friday, i had mentally written off this round as yet another defeat...
but now i'm really happy that, thanks to roma, i was able to make such a great comeback after all and still have a chance at a draw
