Anyway, there are seven different answers between me and leea-1334 so we could have an interesting round.

It is kind of amazing we both got it wrong on Como actually given the fact that a lot of other people got it bang right. And we both also said No to Arsenal so,,, nothing to separate us just yet but I have some high expectations in Manchester City right now to give me the edge. I do not like them but I think they will win a lot before they are finally paying for their crimes  

What happened with Arsenal yesterday was really crazy, i wen with a no in the question just because i didnt think they can ascore 4 goals since most of the time in this early phase big teams plays with subs this kind of games plus Flettwood was in home condition and in someway the litle team in home condition tents to be good at defensive play and didnt allow so much goals, but seeing them disqualified was something that nobody was expecting.
The not so good part is that my rival also pick a no.

I just thought they would for sure be playing easy and win 2 or 3 nil,,, rest key players but in fact they played half the team in attack was top players. Never underestimate small clubs right?

It hasn't been going so well for me on my end. New division but different outcome. Just battling with inconsistency and currently sitting mid table. Got a free point last game but now I have to fight hard for this one. Winning this game will be a huge boost but my opponent definitely won't make it easy. Started well with the Arsenal and Como questions but it's just too early to start celebrating.

It could get tough sometimes and you’ll wonder how things turns out to be so, but even in reality, teams also have their best and poor moments during the season. I don’t know how competitive your division is now but the last time I checked, it has not been easy going for all even those that have been there for a while. I think everyone is getting better and that makes the whole competition more competitive and seeing yourself getting back to back wins will only be by luck and not by your expertise. I have also got a good head on this week, but it is too early to start celebrating, will watch out how things turn to be by end of the round.

Well, given what the situation was in the table, I think going against Como did make some sense.

If it were to be a cup tie, I would have considered my options too, but being a league fixture, I believed it was just as important right now for Fabregas, and I've also been burnt for not trusting Como recently so why do that again, I thought.

I should have hedged my picks. I usually do so when I go against what I think the majority will pick.
Como are making it difficult to against them, my instinct just tell me that they will burn me for trusting them one of these days. Which shouldn't be bad, top teams drop points unexpectedly too.

what just happened with Arsenal? 
Lower league Fleetwood just kicked them out on penalties, and odds on them was sensational.
I think Arsenal was not so much interested in playing EFL Cup, and reserve team with younger players is not that good as people though.
Good luck to Fleetwood in next stages of competition and lets see who else from big teams are getting exit ticket.

Well, City and Brighton result at the halftime is 1-1. That means if City wins, you win. If it end up with a draw or Brighton wins, I win the point. It looks like City is playing with a reserve team so I hope that Brighton can at least get a draw.

The score is now Manchester City 2 - 2 Brighton, this should have been an easy win for those of us who choose on a Manchester City win + over 2,5 goals, but as is often the case with cup matches, it’s heading for a draw & will go into ET. I was wondering why was there the answer "Brighton not to lose" if penalties are counted in. So, if penalties do not count, I got the first point against leea-1334. Finally I start the round with a lead. Now "all" I have do is keep that lead

Not a bad start, as I have a 2–0 lead. The problem with having so many different answers from your opponent is that even this doesn't make me feel much more confident about the outcome.

Ah man, me too, it will be like a super competitive friendly match, all kinds of tackling but without the intent for yellows, that can be a really fun match. 3/3 – Great start for this round. For once I can't blame myself for picking awful answers. Full credit to my opponent who is also doing well and keeping up the pace. The only bad thing this round is that there are only 2 more H2H matches to keep an eye on, so no thrilling weekend is upon us. It might all be resolved before it even starts.

This thread really admires having a spot if possible in the coming season. Even if my rank is still not high enough, I will increase my activity and rank in the coming days to possibly get a spot in the coming season?

Lol dying swans here we have a lot of phrases for such football like 'soft brother' if you translate it, and its not at all fun to be called that when YOU are playing. Sadly, the behavior has also moved into our local football especially with some imports who look bigger and taller but are 'softer brothers'. We say 'awww!!'' whenever there is such a replay.

Imagine a top 2 finish to fight for the title.

But imagination is not realilty for me at the moment

Well, then let me tell you that this round is officially over and you won it by just this Thursday... It sucks to have so many same answers and since basketball H2H will end in a draw, the best I can get to is a 1-2. You have the first defense by far, kind of crazy what you had to deal with on average in all those rounds and now I wasn't able to even score once thus far. This is my first loss this season, congratulations

I think I lead 3-2 after the H2H questions are finished and graded. EarnOnVictor has taken the first H2H to level it up at 2-2 but I have No answered for every basketball leg and there are three No already, that takes me ahead 3-2 as EOV has Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes.

It’s going to be a really close match up as we have a lot of different answers. Better to be winning 3-2 than losing 3-2 though I guess.

Such an impossible round,,, Manchester City went way below my expectations and that is the worst outcome they actually progressed but without winning I would have been much happier if Brighton beat them.

Also very annoying to support favorites in cup, and even in basketball, I am just,,, at a loss for words. You probably already also can win that one, so you are 3 ahead and it is not going in my favor at all.
