That's it, they can ask for KYC anytime they want. I would suggest if you use such platforms, just make sure your KYC documents are ready or verify even before they ask you to verify because if you keep winning and making profits, they will definitely ask you to do KYC verification.

I think it's a very common practice for crypto gambling sites. It benefits both the players and the business itself. Other day in Betnomi I was asking their KYC policy and their response was for large amount of withdrawal or deposits they sometimes ask for KYC. Any casino will do that to protect their business.

I doubt that the VPN may also trigger some problems like IP address changes (same country but very far counties), kyc as you mentioned, account block for using VPN though it is allowed (if the site owner thinks you are doing something suspicious), etc.

It is a friendly UI and design --a great website, when I quickly read your TOS upon registering an account and did not see if there is a required wager before you can withdraw funds after depositing, perhaps this is good to implement since the TOS stated that it is against money laundering. This is a good find, and according to the terms this is what they can do when there is a breach:
