Everything is temporary and has to expire, so I think MS Dhoni should take retirement this year from IPL and will never play again, because if he is greedy to play more games, he will lose his reputation. However, if we look at it from a different point of view, he is still performing better than the young talent in CSK; however, the hopes we had for him that he would be a power hitter, should not be any higher.

Yashasvi Jaiswal did not do well in the first three matches, in this match Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his first fifty in this tournament. However, the reason for Punjab's defeat was the failure of the top-order batsmen. Had Punjab's top order batsmen performed well, the outcome of the match might have been different. But Rajasthan bowler Jofra Archer sprung a surprise in the first over, taking 2 wickets in the first ball and the last ball of the over, which put Punjab under a lot of pressure here. Everyone expected Glenn Maxwell to bat aggressively, but he was dismissed for 30 off 21 balls. In the end, Punjab lost by a huge margin of 50 runs.

Rajasthan Royals outstanding performance in this match winning by 50 runs against Punjab Kings. While chasing down a target of 206 Punjab Kings only managed to score 155 runs in a loss of 9 wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal  played an amazing inning from Rajasthan Royals added important 67 runs from just 45 balls and Riyan Parag played an aggressive inning of 43 runs unbeaten from just 25 balls and assisted Rajasthan Royals to scored a huge total of 200 plus runs. The man of The Match is Jofra Archer who destroyed the batting line of Rajasthan Royals picking three important wickets by just giving only 25 runs with an impressive economy rate of just under 6 runs per over. In bowling Maheesh Theekshana and Sandeep Sharma both picked 2, 2 wickets and bowl a very economical spell that assist his team to win this match.

There are many instance of consecutive wins by a team in IPL. CSK, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata each have won several seasons where they have won two seasons in a row. That is why any team can do well if they try and if they make mistakes in their efforts, they can fall behind again.
