Delhi Capitals played well. They had to chase a big target but there were few batsmen who really fought hard but they failed in the end as they need support from the lower and middle order batsmen too but they failed to deliver. Faf du Plessis made 62 runs and he was looking in a good form. He was bowled by Narine. I expected some good runs by KL Rahul but he was run out and that added more pressure on the team. Axar Patel and Vipraj Nigam did tried to make a partnership but in the end, the required run rate got too high and with wickets losing, DC had no chance left in the game.

Played well? They lost the match for heaven's sake. And it was a match they could have won. If they can't win against an under-strength Kolkata Knight Riders, how can we expect them to fare against stronger teams such as Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru? Their batsmen are like one-time wonders. Karun Nair and Abhishek Porel had one good innings each in this season. And after that they have failed in succession. And the less we talk about Jake Fraser-McGurk, that much better.

DC faced RCB two times, one time they won, and one time they lost, and against MI they lost by margin of 12 runs.

IMO, it will be a tough match for Delhi but they will win if they keep their heads cool. They have a long batting line-up and a decent bowling attack.     

It was indeed a tough match as expected by me. Thanks to Stake.com's early six promotion I got saved and my lost bet was paid as a winner lol. I think if the top-order batsmen could have scored 15-20 more runs the situation would have been different for Delhi Capitals. Anyway DC fought well considering stopping KKR's initial momentum, I was thinking that KKR would score at least 240+ but DC managed to tame them.
I seriously think that Delhi needs a change of captainship, Akshar Patel is not doing the job well and it is evident that the captainship pressure is affecting his bowling and batting abilities.

What do you think of today's match? IMO PNK will destroy CSK easily. CSK still does not have the guts to tell Dhoni to sit out , he is bringing too much money in the form of brand adveritising

Kolkata Knight Riders have batted well in today's match, they have scored 204 runs for the loss of nine wickets, their score is big. Delhi Capitals are more likely to lose if they fail to perform well in their batting today. However, if Kolkata Knight Riders can win today's match, they will be able to increase their points in the points table.

Finally after several defeats Kolkata knights rider (the previous season dominator) able to make a comeback against Delhi capitals with a decent margin. Looking to scoredboard Kolkata batting order throughout played ordinary from top to bottom and that's what Kolkata really missing in his recent matches due to which unable to catch the momentum. For me deficiency of starc and salt in Kolkata lineup make them abit off colour. But now looking to situation still Kolkata has eight more match to play so that a single click can turn things for them. While on the other hand Delhi are on decent position with handosme number of win so anything can happened anytime 😉

We have seen poor performance from Kolkata in a few consecutive matches. Especially the performance of Kolkata's batsmen was weak. But Kolkata showed a great comeback in this match. Delhi team is very strong. Then Kolkata was able to collect big. The team scored 79 runs in the first 6 overs of the power play. The team scored only 43 runs in the last 5 overs. Kolkata needed to collect at least 60 runs in the last 5 overs.

It is difficult to win by batting at a target of 205 runs on this pitch. Even then, Delhi's batsmen are trying their best. Delhi scored 190 runs by losing 9 wickets till the end. Sunil Narine and ANukul ROy bowled well in this match. Narine took 3 wickets. Anukul took only one wicket but gave away only 27 runs in 4 overs. If Kolkata can continue the winning streak, then the team still has a chance to go to the top four of the table.

Punjab vs Chennai coming up. This is a pointless match for CSK, but an important one for Punjab who should win it comfortably despite no pressure on CSK. They got unlucky in the previous match where they most probably would have won if rain hadn't interfered.

Dhoni is trying hard as usual, but most of the team is totally out of form which is why even his special skills couldn't turn their fortunes around.

I also think PBKS should run over CSK easily. Regarding Dhoni, I think CSK has more problems than Dhoni.

These new kids don't think about failures and keep playing aggressively. Few years back, such mindset would have cost them a place in the playing XI.

Last 12 balls of CSK inning change the match momentum and bring back Punjab into game no doubt all was set to have 200+ which is perfect target but now it's balanced or Punjab is having good advantage because their openers done good job with good start.

Now after end of 9 overs it's 81 with the lost of 1 wicket Shreyas Iyer on crease Prabhsimran Singh also have good time with bat which making things favourable for PBKS which is looking for second spot with this win. I think Sai Sudarshan is an exception, he's not aggressive as others mentioned but is well timer and placer of the ball, I figure he could be a good test player (reading he's in talks to getting chance as backup opener in upcoming test series against England).

Chennai Super Kings looked to be playing a match to stay in wicket from the start, but they started losing wickets in the 3rd and 4th overs. When they lost 3 wickets in the power play, their hopes of winning the match were also reduced. Despite Sam Curran's good performance from that position, the team's score did not live up to expectations. If they could have scored a little more, they would have had a chance of winning this match, but it did not happen.

Punjab Kings have shown good batting from the start, which is why their chances of winning the match are almost certain. The team has scored 136 in 14 overs for the loss of 2 wickets, they do not need many runs to win. No one could have imagined that CSK would perform so badly in this season.
