While on the other hand, the target was high for Gujrat to chase, their openers start fast as Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill scored a lot but I think it was good to start fast but they should had to take care of their wickets, as after scoring very fast Shubman Gill was out and it makes pressure on the next players, hence they lost the game but still they tried well.

Wickets were never a problem, GT bats deep. It was dot balls from Vijay that didn't allow GT batters to score runs as was required and eventually the deliveries weren't enough and so the loss.

Gujarat Titans, however, kept their targets in front and moved forward accordingly, but the turning point for Punjab Kings was the dismissal of the in-form Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. If Sai Sudharsan could have batting two or three more overs, he would have brought this match much closer to victory. Basically in the first innings, the collection of Punjab Kings was big and to chase this big target, Gujarat had to score a certain amount of runs in each over, which Gujarat could not actually do economic runs due to which they lost this match against Punjab. If they could have kept Punjab within 220 or 230 runs then surely Gujarat would have won this match. I feel sad that Shreyas Iyer could not score a century even though Punjab kings won the match against Gujarat titans.  
Shreyas Iyer had plenty of chances to score a century but in the last over he gave more importance to the team's runs than taking the strike, so he missed out on his maiden IPL century.

Both Rajasthan and Kolkata lost their first match. Rajasthan's bowlers did not do well in the first match. Although the batsmen tried hard to win, they could not achieve the huge target of 287 runs.

Kolkata won the toss and decided to field today. But today the batsmen of Rajasthan Royals failed to play well as expected. Talented players such as Shubham Dubey and 13-year old (?) Vaibhav Suryavanshi are ignored so that this guy can be allotted a permanent slot in the playing XI. And don't forget the fact that he is one of the highest paid players in the IPL, with a salary of ₹14 crore per year. For comparison, Quinton de Kock receives a salary of just ₹3.6 crore per year.

Another loss for Rajasthan Royals. They are now the bottom of the table. Rajasthan had a bad start with batting. They made 151 but that score is no longer a defendable one in IPL. They started slow and kept losing wickets. Kolkata chasing a small target knew what to do from start. They went all in an finished it with 8 wickets and 15 balls remaining. Quinton de Kock alone made 97 notout for Kolkata Knight Riders. It's a morale boost for KKR after loss against RCB on their 1st match.

I didn't have much hope from this match in terms of entertainment value and it delivered, most boring match of the season so far. KKR should have tried to finish earlier for run rate purposes as it can be crucial for playoffs.

Firstly KKR bowlers done impressive job and help their team for restricting RR for total which was not problem for their batting to chase now Quinton de Kock smashed 97 on 61 balls which seal their first win of IPL2025. After winning toss KKR decided to bowl first which was good decision by them spin friendly conditions and pitch in 6th Match at Guwahati, both help them for having their first win of this season 151 was looking not challengeable for their batsmen but Quinton de Kock masterclass make things easier.

Captain Ajinkya Rahane gone quickly but still things was perfect for them to have easy win as now their NRR is also good after ending this game quickly without any problem South African legend is going to be Man of the Match.
