As people who have experience in life, we must be able to be independent and not depend on anything including the government, the fact that is happening is that many of the world's largest companies are currently market leaders, they start their business seriously and do not depend on the government, they can be strong because have optimism about the future of the business being managed.

There are plenty of benefits in working in government especially once they retire. Though it will depend on what job is being offered to.  The benefits will depend on what country we are and job will depend on what place we lived in, sometimes only those who are close to the politicians in position got a chance to get hired in government. Though in the future as technology, robotics and blockchain advances the need to hire more staffs might not be needed anymore so tendency like what happening now when governments don’t hire a lot many will depend in private companies or in having their own businesses.

well i guess you are right. Because after all that can change our situation is only ourselves. we cannot always just expect help from other people including from the government. we must have a strong stance and must be able to build everything independently. But that doesn't mean we don't need the help of other people or the government. Of course in one case we need the government and other people. but if it is related to our career and business then we are the ones who fight for it ourselves. we are the ones who have to build it patiently from the bottom. We can't expect other people to change our life. but we are in full control and responsible for what happens to us. then being independent, working hard and never giving up is something that everyone needs to build a strong and opinionated personality.

If we base only on title then you are right but his point mostly is about the jobs or business that the government ain't helping like the OP cant feel the government when he put up business which I think he want some sort of support financially or in promotion. I would be difficult if there are no government for sure it is chaotic. Also we just cant feel that they are providing jobs but they are by having investors from other countries which can generate jobs

A nation cannot exist without a government, just like a herd needs a leader to lead and protect them all. It is true that the government cannot provide jobs for all of us, nor can it support every family in need, but their role in our lives is undeniable. You can surely survive without a government job as a fresh graduate, but you cannot survive without the government.
As a graduate you can apply the skills you may have acquired while on campus to create a job for yourself. You can leverage on the connections you have too to ask for recommendations to job openings.
Besides, I am of the opinion that people who should look for government jobs should be those who truly want to serve the public. If not, why would anyone want to work at a place where it feels like you are stuck.
OP, you are already doing well with the business you have started just keep at it and if you come up with innovative ideas, the government will come running towards you.

Yes, we shouldn't depend on the government, but we also need government support, especially in carrying out expansions in our business, such as licenses and other things that might require support from the government or local officials for business to run so that it is safer to manage the business. It cannot be denied that the government quite indirectly contribute to the development of the business that we do, if you remove some of the elements that the government actually took part in the development of your business I think it will be labeled illegal without government support.

That's good because you have a plan as opposed to waiting for the government to work things out, everyone has a responsibility and ideally we should have the ability to solve it ourselves. There are many ways we can do to make our finances better and the simplicity of the business you do is one way that many people can do.

Starting a small business is far better than doing nothing to stave off unproductive old age. Our lives do not depend on other people or the government, but the presence of both can help us achieve the business we run, the government provides access to security and a proper place is an obligation, while relationships are people who will encourage our business to grow.

Yes, higher education gives confidence in the future.
But the fact is that many people perceive higher education as protection. They don't think about earning money, they just study in order to do something now.
Unfortunately, I was like that at university. I was told to study - I studied, absolutely not thinking about earning. But it was possible to start thinking about your business even then.

What if it takes years before the person gets hired? In my country, there are lots of graduates who are not employed. In fact, for the masses that are graduating every year in my country, I can say that only up to 40% or less get employed. I don't know about other countries, but over here, it is difficult to get a job, and even if the government hires you, your salary, oh damn, will just solve a few of your needs (very few), although it depends on the government sector you are employed in because we know they pay medical doctors very well. It's just good for one to also get other skills that can help them explore if the government work they need is not yet available.

Many agencies in the government also help business owners and workers by teaching how to grow the business and the desired job. In terms of finances, there are also agencies held by the government that help to support a business like ours whose main source of income is the cultivation of rice and coconuts.

Government is meant to provide enabling environment for businesses to thrive therefore you are indirectly enjoying some of the basic infrastructures provided by the same government, firstly your popcorn is powered by electricity and you can communicate effectively with your customers via mobile phone etc, thus government provision of those basic infrastructures will trigger Small Medium Enterprise to emerge in many locations thus create employment opportunities just like how you employed some people into your popcorn business imagine the number of people that will be gainfully employed if these businesses thrive in different locations across the country

in order to maintain order, a society needs someone who will impose that order. after reading the post, i have remembered a saying i once read which is, "there is a difference between a good leader and a kind leader". in this society what we need is a good leader since a community is composed of all sorts of people with different values and views in life. the government needs someone like a hungry vulture to help his fellow countrymen seek opportunities. so i don't believe that we can survive without government, and i also agree that it really depends on the ones running the government whether they will share the opportunities with their people or pocket them.

I would say kind leader would work too, we have leaders that are neither good nor kind, we have leaders who are incompetent and also evil, when you consider that kind one sounds like a good option. Maybe the kind one will not be a good president or a leader, maybe they will suck, but the current one we have for example in my nation is not kind and evil person but he also rules the nation terribly as well at the same time.

I rather have a kind bad leader than an evil bad leader at the helm. That way while the country is going down, which it already is, at least we would have someone who would be kind to us at the same time and should be fine about it. Obviously I would much prefer a good one but there are not even options of a good one for us lately.

We both have the same desire to advance in life because of the hardships of life in our area like mine that almost my salary is not enough for daily expenses so i'll do all ways to earn online or in a real world . I would like to get a good position in the government but it is not possible because of my lack of education. It is also true that almost not all graduates get a job right away. That's why I don't depend on them anymore, instead is to find a way to earn.

Government plays a big part on economy there law set on their country is one of the reason why investor pour their money on their target countries. They also help their people to get proper infrastructure to be equip with knowledge to be prepared on the jobs which available on the market.

If no government will maintain the country I doubt that there are any investor will risk their money on that country because this is dangerous to them. No government no law regulating people and for sure many would think about crazy things because no one will stop them.

Yeah indeed it really need our effort to live or earn a living but if no businessman will come up and offer livelihood to the people in nearest places for sure people will struggle because no opportunities are available to anyone there.

As long as governments cut the taxes on companies that hire a lot of people, that should be fine. Imagine a scenario where you would spend a million dollars on workers and a million dollars on taxes, and the government comes to you and says double your work force and have 2 million dollars salaries, so instead of 1000 people you have 2000, and you won't have to pay any taxes. That would be good right?

You would have more workers and even more profit and even less cost because of no taxes. Governments can help the economy that way, less taxes for doing more good things, offer companies a way to get richer and pay less and allow the public to have more jobs, definitely something that will benefit everyone all together.
