This is a loss and very sad for OP and his friend. But in this case, I won't blame the people who scammed them because nothing would have happened if the OP hadn't been greedy. The OP himself and his friends also know that making money these days is extremely difficult. But why would they easily trust a company that promises high profits? I don't think someone saves without having a clear goal, meaning that everyone who saves is for some clear goals in his life and everyone who is saving will certainly use his money wisely and will not immediately spend his money if his goals are not clear. We all know that it is common for ponzi and pyramid scammers to go with the euphemism of "business" or "investment opportunity" to deceive their possible victims. nowadays the fashion is to mask the fraud as much as possible making people to believe the ponzi is actually a betting webpage, an arbitrage bot, anything.
