Does this imply that signature campaign is almost ineffective for forum only projects? I don't think that this is true.
In the newly launched coinslotty campaign launched by Trofo and Co, there is a bonus system that rewards a particular campaigner whose signature is a gateway for registration and deposit. If signature is not effective in the forum, that bonus system could be tagged as frivolity.

Majority of users who need image hosting is already aware of this project, there are translations to main languages, there are advice of using it when there are questions. 

I do not agree that majority are aware. But I know that the project is gaining waves and with the locals translations, but this shouldn't negate any further promotion as signature campaign.

There is no advertisement means in this forum that is as effective as signature campaign and we shouldn't underrate the power of the views and exposure in the service thread.

It is not suggested to be mandatory as I mentioned it to be free. However, I suggested that the project owner wear the signature for few days to show seriousness. BUT he may also decide not to wear it, it's not bad.
And if a thread is not created and signature and avatar designed, how will a voluntary promoter get the signature to add to their space.
There's no much stress though, I just needed an aggressive promotion of this lovely project employing a genuine means that will cost close to nothing.

I don't think he must wear a signature to spread awareness of his service. For now, he is not making money from this project. Missing two-week payments from the signature campaign won't be a good idea. He is planning to run this as long as possible. He may invest that signature money into his service to improve it further. Since it's exclusively for forum users, his service will take over all other services in no time. The imgur issue already lets people think about the alternative site, and people already getting in touch with Talkimg.

Moreover, Talkimg already got some support from the forum as well. Theymos added a talkimg link on the help page of the forum. Also, Talkimg is going to have a factoid ad. So, he is already getting free advertisements which may be worth more than a couple of hundred dollars. If the factoid ads run for a long time, we don't know how much it may be worth.

I don't think you understand. The original post was specifically addressing the use of image hosting services for the Bitcointalk. Although Imgur is a well-known image hosting platform, it still entails relying on a single point of failure. How can you ensure the longevity of your images on their service?

Well, because it's popular, been online since years and is not managed by a single individual, this is what I meant by single point of failure. joker_josue manages TalkImg, what about site if something happens to him?

But, in relation to the domain only having a two-year registration, there's even a simple reason: I got a promotion and it was a bigger discount when buying 2 years, than buying 5 or 10 years. The idea is to continue as long as possible, and I will continuously renew the domain. I have been preparing everything to continue the project in the long term. If it is eventually complicated, in a worst case scenario, I stop accepting new images, but the server remains online.

How can I be so silly by not rewarding some merits?
It's a good project buddy. Finally I feel we have our own image hosting server and I can demand any feature I like on behalf of the forum users. Imgur, imgbb and other sites are truly unknown and it was impossible to make a connection with the admins to let them know your desires.

I just used Talking.com to upload an image and the process went smoothly. joker_josue thanks you for this wonderful project to overcome imgur misbehaviour. Nobody was expecting imgur company or website to malfunction the way they did and you quickly go into action and brought out this wonderful project. What I will say is that the different links in the talkimg site after when the images have been uploaded are confusing person. Like I always tried all before I got the right link to upload the pictures. Once again thank you.

I am not a technical guy, and I don't know coding. An Average Joe can't contribute to such a project. I discovered this service today and I used it twice today and I was trying to use it for the 3rd time but I keep getting error feedback. I thought it was the size of the image. I tried to resize but to no avail. I had to come here to check for update.

SITUATION STATUS:
Because of the changes that have occurred recently with the Imgur service, there has been a significant increase in TalkImg usage. As you can guess, I had anticipated a gradual increase in usage, not a sudden increase like it has been these past few days. This forced us to readjust plans and move forward with updates to the server earlier than expected.

I have for the past 24 hours made every effort to keep everything up and running. And luckily, I've been able to keep everything up and running. Thank you for all the support and understanding you have given me.

The upgrade process is not over yet, as a new server is being set up for the ImgTalk project. While this process takes place and in order to keep the service online, I inform you that you can upload images, but to maintain stability, each IP can only upload 50 images per hour.

Over the next few hours, I'll be updating the process.
Once again I ask for everyone's understanding, in helping to keep everything working.
