I was uploading a screenshot today and noticed something in the footer that I can barely read. Then I go back to the homepage, and it's fine on the home page. Here is how it looks;

This is with Edge browser. I tried google chrome and Firefox as well. The footer is unreadable on google chrome and Firefox. It's just a blank black page in google chrome and Firefox.

This happens because when you are loading an image, it opens as a popup that scores the whole site.
After uploading, when clicking the "upload" button or reloading the page, this pop-up closes and no longer appears like this.

New ad is looking great and it doesn't create a lot of distractions because it's only added on main page, but most important thing (for you) is that Duelbits advertisement can be seen even with my uBlock origin extension turned on, and this doesn't happen so often

Careful… someone might as well report the tags to block the ad on your website to the user maintaining uBlock and similars.

Well remembered, the person can actually use the tag to create a rule in the adblock, so that the ad does not appear. But I can't do much about that. I can change the name of the tag or something like that, but the person can always analyze the code and create the rule.

What I meant is that as I don't follow the traditional advertising system - nor do I want to follow it, these blocking systems don't do it automatically. The user must create a specific rule.

Either way, I believe that the banner is not too intrusive in the normal use of the site, not bothering users.

It's trivial for me to right click and hide anything I want with uBlockOrigin, but I am not using any adblocker on bitcointalk forum and I won't use them on TalkImg website.
For all other websites I can't function normally on internet without uBlock or DNS ad blocking, maybe that is why youtube is preparing to disable watching any videos for people who block ads...  you will watch ads and be happy

Yep, just to be clear, I don’t think there is anything wrong with the ad and absolutely think you deserve to get some money to keep the service running.

My post was more of a joke, and even though it’s true that anyone can contribute to the inbuilt list of most famous adblocks, I don’t think anyone will do that.

Just don’t put any popup since they make using the website on mobile impossible.

You have good intentions for your customers and it's indeed a good motive. Having so many advertisements will make the website complex and difficult to navigate through. I also know that you also need funds to finance the project. But everything should be done in moderation to keep the quality of the website intact. But the Duelbit advert was well positioned, designed, and arranged. Thanks to the duelbit team for choosing to support the talkimg project. It was a project that was born out of the desire to solve the problem of the community.

I just took a test, and everything seems normal. Remember that the larger the image, the longer the upload takes. Furthermore, the loading time depends a lot on your internet connection and/or the speed of your VPN.

Basically there's some slight slowdown when you're trying to copy links or scroll up/ down. This also happens before uploading any image.

I tested and it seems to only affect the Brave browser. Chrome and Firefox seems to work fine.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to see if I can make some adjustments.

It is not always easy, that the sites have the same performance in all browsers. Despite the way the site is built, it should behave the same in all browsers. But, all it takes is a browser update for that to change.

I'll see if I can do something.

I'm seeing everything normally. It was probably a loading error on the part of the browser.

Not I, said the fly.  And I just used your site to host several images a couple of hours ago, and I've used it a number of times since you created it (and again I say, hail joker_josue!!).

That's really kind of philipma1957 to donate that much btc to you and to promote your site.  Now I feel like an absolute freeloader, seriously.  Funds are so tight right now that donating to anything isn't an option, but I'm going to write a note down in my little bitcointalk journal to do so if my financial situation improves.  Until then, keep up the great work man.  It's definitely appreciated.
