You can find the Bitcoin donation address at the bottom of the page. But right now, donating Bitcoin might not be the best idea because the fees are a bit high and the blockchain is congested. Maybe JJ can also add altcoin options like Litecoin or Tron (TRX/USDT) ato reduce transaction fees.

I'm a little. 
I don't use any other type of crypto, other than bitcoin, although I have nothing against altcoins.

But, I promise in the next few days, to think of an alternative, for these cases.

I just woke up to the ads used by TalkImg, which was originally supported by DUELBIT, but now changed to ROLLBIT.
Is DUELBIT stopping its support, or is there an expiration of its contract as an advertiser on TalkImg?

The more support, of course, proves the more TalkImg continues to grow

I appreciate the concern. The change was more due to "contractual" issues.
We maintain a good relationship with both brands, it may be that announcements from them will return in a while.

Perhaps other support may arise, and that ends up being good for everyone.

The more support that appears, the more you have to manage the placement of ads that are good enough.

And Now TalkImg is fully finished Photo Hosting for Bitcointalk.
On average, all users have started switching from legacy hosting to TalkImg.

BTW, how is the development of the Ziptool you are working on, is it now fully working?

I'm still working on it, depending on time availability.
But the current version is already more complete and more efficient, accepting more types of images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP
Despite this, there is still a lot of room for improvement.

I shouldn't include it on the main website, at least for now, but I'll soon put the link on the website for easier access. I still have one or two points in mind before I do this.

How long do you plan to run this project?  You know it would be heartbreaking for the images hosted on the site that are linked to great threads in the forum to disappear after about 4-5 years when the site stops operating.

Very strong point there.

I have opened quite alot of threads in the forum and the images have gone missing and I tend to wonder how soon the sites went down when they are needed to last long enough.

I also understand that these are projects and projects succeed and projects fail but its not for us to decide which does what but we can properly assess them to know which will stand strong in the face of challenges as they are powering other solutions elsewhere.

I don't know if it's a glitch or not but still reporting. Sometimes I would get 2 links.

Let me give you you a summery. The thing is, suppose I used talkimg 10 minutes ago, didn't closed the tab but closed the browser. After 10 minutes, I navigate tabs to find the tab of talkimg that had been opened before. The page looks fresh, normally how it looks. Then I accept the terms and upload an image again and get 2 links. First link is the one that was uploaded 10 minutes before and the second link is the one that I just uploaded (Android). Clicking the new upload bar gives 1 link. Is it a feature? Looks like the browser/site saves the previous link data.

The Android browser probably saves the data from the first upload. And although you make a new upload and it accepts it, in the end both will appear.
I think this should only happen in the mobile browser, as it has never been reported in a PC browser.

Just tested it again. Time doesn't matter. If I keep the tab open after uploading an image but closing the browser, It still gives me 2 links.

If you close the browser/website and open it again, will the two links appear again?
In the first image you send, only a link appears. In the second, 2 links appear.

Well, this is probably due to the browser cache, which must be causing this repetition. I don't know if I can do anything, but I'll take a look.

It’s pretty crazy how many images I’m seeing that still don’t load due to the Imgur issue… I thought the forum had a plan in place to do something about it. Are we really expecting every user here to install 3rd party software to correct this issue themselves? Is there any plan for talkimg to work with the forum to move the images over or is it going to be an every man for themselves scenario?

There is currently no plan, although some ideas have already been discussed.
For now, it will be everyone for themselves. If this changes in the future, I will be here to try to do my best.

The service was designed especially with the needs of the forum in mind, but it has nothing to do with the forum. It is a completely independent and autonomous service. Furthermore, this type of danger that you speak of occurs in any type of image hosting service. Making this type of observation shows how unaware you are of how image hosting services work.

But, no one is forced to use this service, whoever wants to use it.

I think that if the feds need to trace someone from this forum, there's nothing stopping them from following a link to a picture posted on the forum to any independent third party image hosting service, not just TalkImg.com. In fact, they won't need to do that, because they can easily make a request to the forum administrator.
