A question for the whole community: would you prefer a dark theme?

I would prefer main theme to be dark.
It's fine to login and use it like that, but I am not always logged in TalkImg, or I am using a different device.

Whenever the upload ends, the "Reset" button is available. Do you think it is not clear enough? Maybe rename that button. What do you think?

I see it now after you told me in upper right corner, but I never noticed it before.
Maybe move it to some better position, or change size and rename it to something better.

As the site grows, I'd expect Google to get even "smarter" and no longer correct "talkimg" to "talking." Maybe we're a far way off from that, but we'll get there eventually

Everything works and looks perfect now.

As for that button, I'll think about how to adjust it to be more predictable. 

Simple fix is to add different color for reset box, maybe orange to match the color of TalkImg logo.
You could also play with moving the button in diffeent positions, more on left side, or no top bar.

Count me fully on board with the transition to dark mode! The combination of orange and dark gray is truly a striking match and it looks perfect from my end. I would not change a thing.

That's more of a contrast problem than a dark problem, it's a gray font on a gray background. Your monitor quality can make a large difference too: on my laptop I have to adjust my viewing angle to see it, on my monitor I can read everything.

Yes, that's what I'm going to try to do.

If you have time, try to modify the Resize image, as it is implemented at the image level without the ability to view the image after resizing and before uploading. you can add features such as making URL image

I suggest using the resize image option only as a last option.
It is always better to give preference to the option to resize via code. For this you have the option "BBCode full fix HxW".

In the future, more options may arise regarding this topic (but without a forecast date).

nope I am color blind

a white background works with just about any color print

a black back ground sucks with many colors. since I am color blind.  his donations are in dark green (maybe) on black

not going to work well for me.

and with many other colors, black background sucks for me.

btw I have at least a dozen screens and all of them suck with the donation color in green ? maybe grey and black back ground.

I made some graphical tweaks, which I hope will improve the user experience.

Can you upload GIF here? I haven't tried it yet as I don't usually add images in my post unless needed. If not, I hope you can add that, that would be awesome.

Yes, it can be GIF upload. The only limit is not to exceed 2.5MB.

TalkImg supports all types of images accepted on the forum. Hope you enjoy using the service.

I saw you mentioned about animation of past transactions in the other thread. Would you use it in your talkimg?

Edit: I can make an endpoint which would show the total received only. So if you move funds from this address, the total donated would stay the same. If you need, i can do it easily.

The donation is really nice thing from people, but I hope you can also go ahead of it and apply for Google Adsense. You will be able to get good revenue for yourself and for the future development of website.

This is a project for the BitcoinTalk community. I trusted that the community will help me keep the project on the air, as it has done so far. I'm not going to use systems like Google Adsense, because that would just create "noise" on the site, and I don't want to. Not to mention the possible collection of information, which I don't want either.

But, I am available to have publicity coming from the forum, similar to what happens with subscription campaigns. By the way, this is already happening, this time with the sponsorship of Duelbits, which will soon have a new banner on the site.
