I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). Most likely this is the result of the YouTube algorithm determining this is something in which you could be interested and now it is feeding you a lot of those ads, since I really doubt that YouTube is somehow pushing for more gambling ads or that gambling companies have out of nowhere decided to increase their advertising budget at the same time, and if those ads are bothering you that much maybe it is time that you use an ad blocker and forget about those ads for good.

I agree, the one who wants to be  advertised are the one who will pay a huge sum of payment to YouTube. Knowing that YouTube is one of the best platform to use now to engage and reach more people, we cannot deny the fact that obviously people will use the platform, it is a little amount to be spend for the return of people who will watch the ads and will go to their website to play. Even a little banner in yt or in another platform are useful for advertising.

But, I don't answer those surveys they pop because I know that it's another way for them to gather data and that's how they're gonna feed me with ads that they've got ready for me.

I hope that we can choose ads but it's not like that. That's automatically set by them and it will depend on what niche you're watching on their platforms.

I don't know how it exactly works but I think that the ads market on Youtube, like how you can place your ads on Youtube, works like a normal marketplace and the highest paying bid wins the advertisement slot. Since casinos are making tons of money they will also be able to place the highest bids. But since Google tracks everything anyway I am sure that there is some increase in casino ads for some people when they also visit casino websites. This has happened to me with all kinds of things from everyday life. It's not about probability, many companies are facing challenges in these trying economic times, and many of these economies are the evening means for YouTube and the like. That's why top companies that have dominance online were laying off workers to cover for the revenue shortage. honestly some ads could be as weird as launching you into their content without even waiting for you to click on them, thry usually comes along while you're opening a website opened together, though I've also seen some YouTube ads that will demand you to skip them after 5 seconds which they would have advertised their content as well using your own data.

I actually do face such a challenge on a few sites I browse, and it becomes so difficult to browse efficiently in  such sites on mobile because the ads pop up and automatically open a site for the advertisement, like it does on my phone. Sometimes, too, if it's an app ads that pops up, it will automatically open the Play Store, totally distrusting what I am browsing. Some ads have a cancellation button after a few seconds when the advertisement completes, but some ads don't show a cancellation button at all, especially if you are operating from a mobile phone. Yes you're right, those making advertisement using ads are not enjoying it for free, they were paid for services that we are seing and it also cost them to secure that particular slot to be granted for them to make such awareness through ads, though some may also receives a traffic flow into their website through this from each click on their ads, so we need to spend money more if we are intending to get more money, ads may look disgusting to us but there are some that really like seing them and having a look on every ads that pop in their screen on YouTube because they believe through that, they can learn more thing from what they are receiving as long as they don't mind.

If you dont want ads from Youtube or you are really that got irritated then you would be always have the opt on going for premium but of course it would really be an another expense which not all would really

be that tending to do so but rather they would be dealing up on skipping ads on 10 sec mark or what rather than on paying up on something just like on getting rid of them but well its a personal choice or preference because there are ones who would really be tending on doing so.
