I think that it would be much better for Sevilla to go down to the Europa League rather than continuing in the Champions League. Because clearly they can be more successful there. Sevilla have already started poorly to the season. On paper they got a lucky draw in the Champions League. But considering their effort these days I don't expect them to do better than Arsenal and PSV both. They can just make sure to get as many point as possible from Lens to consolidate the 3rd position.

Yes, sometimes it makes us wonder, how Sevilla will get through this competition. But we cannot underestimate Sevilla, what happens in Laliga may not be the same as their performance in the Champions League. I would guess that Sevilla will not do that well at UCL anyway, so "focusing on UCL" is not something sevilla can really do, it is not going to help them in any case and it will not benefit them all that much neither. I think it should be important to keep it going one way or another.

I do believe that we are not going to end up with a good result, but that doesn't mean that league should be not cared about neither. League is the only thing they should care about, and if they are lucky they will be third at the group stages of UCL and go back to europa which they are good at anyway and they will be doing fine. That is the best way for them to move forward, the Europa win if they can, which is hard I know, and also league top four.

Many say that will happen, seeing that Sevilla are currently at the bottom of the La Liga standings. The recent addition of Sergio Ramos has brought a breath of fresh air to bring Sevilla to winning ways, it is true that he is not young anymore but his experience can make the Sevilla squad's confidence better.

It doesn’t matter if they play Europa league or champions league since you believe they can’t survive the champions league they would still get knocked out in the group stage and go back to the Europa league where they belong. Since the season has only just begun, I don't think it's appropriate to write them off just yet. They still have time to turn things around before the champions league begins, and even in their current poor form, they should be able to face PSV and battle their way through the group stage even though they have no chance of making the finals.

Everyone is aware of Sevilla's exceptional performance in the Europa League, which some refer to as The Sevilla League. Like magic they always walk their way to the finals and most times they end up winning it but they shouldn’t because of that not fight for a spot in the champions league where the bigger boys dine.

When you look at Sevilla's performance in La Liga, it is very disappointing. Really far from hope to rise again this season and be better than last season. For the fact that Manchester United is not in their top form is why I am keeping them in the second position because if they are in good form, they will be able to bring Bayern Munich down. This does not mean that Bayern Munich should relax that they will be at the top of the table because them themselves are not also good this season. So Manchester United might challenge them for the top one of the group.

That makes sense but sevilla can still at least earn some additional prize to help its club financially. Sevilla needs to get additional income for its club caused by the club has been suffering the horrible situation with its financial.
It's not necessary for the club to win UCL or reach final but it will be really helping the club so much. In fact, sevilla will get more money when it will go to the at least last 16 of UCL.
Goingback to the europa league will be only making sevilla to lose a good source of income. The club can use it as a motivation to do its comeback again. Although the probability of Sevilla succeeding is currently slim, their placement in a less challenging group still leaves room for possibility.

Most of the groups seems easy in Champions League this year but surprise results have happened here not long ago when Maccabi Haifa beat Juventus two times and they were qualified for Europa League while Juventus stayed out completely.This to say that things may look easy on paper but in reality if surprise results happen I would not be surprised at all as this is football in the end,of course I do not expect any surprise against the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munchen which are some big teams while for any other team any result cannot be considered a big surprise if they lose a game.

Qualifying from the group phase to play in 16 rounds is enough for Leipzig, they don't need to struggle to beat Manchester City because City is indeed the strongest team at the moment and hard to beat, as long as they can beat the other two teams both home and away then they have enough points to be in second place and with Manchester City playing in Top 16.
Manchester City is lucky with this draw because, throughout the group phase, they can focus more on continuing to win many matches in the English Premier League, or at least they can rotate players well.
As defending champions Manchester City will fight to reach the final, but when the draw for round 16 will also be quite decisive in my opinion, if they get another easy draw it will really help them, and favorite teams like Manchester City often get this convenience.
