Arsenal are lucky to have escaped the group of death, they need to develop momentum and confidence in the competition as they play, and the group they are in gives them a chance to do that.

If with opportunities like the ones I mentioned, Arsenal cannot take advantage of the momentum well, I think Arteta quality as a tactician is questionable. Because if you look at the movement of the summer transfer market, Arteta spent a lot of budget to recruit new players. I am sure that Arteta is far from getting questioned when he doesn't win a title. I would like to see sevilla will go back to the europea league again.

when you talk about Sevilla in Spanish La Liga, I will not be so confident about their performance since they have sold all their players or most of their important players because of their financial trouble. While you also talk about their performance in the Champions League i am not also confident that they can do better, but when it comes to Europa League, whether they have the best players or not, they have the experience on how to win the Europa League. Most times they will have to fall from The Champions League category back to Europa League category in order to be the champions of Europa League. If you look at the quality of the teams in this group, it is true that Arsenal are quite the favorites to win the group or qualify for the group phase, I think the possibility is very big and we can also see Arsenal's performance at the start of this season is still the same as last season, they are still quite strong.

The fact is that last season Sevilla was Europa League Champion, Arsenal were EPL runners up, PSV were also Eredivisie runners up and Lens were Ligue 1 runners up. Well, it crossed my mind when the transfer market opened, and I thought that Newcastle would be more ambitious in buying players, considering that their schedule in the UCL would require quality players and of course have experience as well as mentality in the UCL. If this opportunity is not utilized properly, I personally doubt that Newcastle will be able to play optimally in the UCL. Moreover, seeing a tough opponent will only make Newcastle easier to get rid of. That doesn't mean I underestimate their quality, but because the UCL competition is a different competition to the EPL, there will be many considerations that must be made in the transfer market if you don't want to be eliminated quickly.

Since the best they can do is to finish second that means they'll be meeting a stronger team in the round of 16 and that'll be their stop.

Talking about Newcastle, I don't mean to think this team is weak or not strong enough. precisely what caught my attention was on the coach, I thought Eddie Howe had to change his pattern of play. otherwise they will find it difficult to compete in this competition, or its domestic league. If this opportunity is not utilized properly, I personally doubt that Newcastle will be able to play optimally in the UCL. Moreover, seeing a tough opponent will only make Newcastle easier to get rid of. That doesn't mean I underestimate their quality, but because the UCL competition is a different competition to the EPL, there will be many considerations that must be made in the transfer market if you don't want to be eliminated quickly.

I guess this was the biggest surprise for most of us knowing how rich Newcastle United potentially is. But I couldn't find a reasonable answer why they did not really become very active on the transfer market. Is there any specific reason to that or was is just consent among the club bosses?

I think it obviously didn't pay out so far and some big names on their team would have certainly helped. It is still the relatively unknown squad that everybody was surprised about last season, but some enforcements would have been so important. Now they have the perfect failure for the start of the season.

I don't know how Sandro Tonali will feel when he will be in the same group as his former club, Milan, in the Champions League. Previously, we knew that Sandro Tonali's move to Newcastle was because Milan needed large financial support to be able to rebuild its squad for this season, so like it or not, Sandro Tonali agreed to the agreement to join Newcastle. Even though he did not want to leave his favorite club and even through his parting words with Milan he also said that one day he wanted to return to this childhood team.

Of course, for a player who has real Italian blood, he will definitely face difficult things in the match, but as a professional footballer he has to forget about those feelings on the field and start defending seriously and giving his best for Newcastle in the Champions League this season.

I'm sure that factor will not be a barrier for Sandro Tonali to keep playing properly, because at least there have been many other players also from time to time who play against his former team too. In fact, many of them even though they are only loan players, but they also still make goals to the previous team or the team they came from. Therefore, although Sandro Tonali loves Milan very much but still, Sandro Tonali is also not originally from the Milan academy. At least it will make Sandro Tonali still play well, and not awkward to play against Milan in the group phase later.
