They were able to play solidly and yesterday they were able to beat Girona 4-0 and make them very likely to become La Liga champions this season. I think the same thing will happen in the Champions League. They won't be able to score a lot of goals but they will be able to perform solidly in every match.

I agree with you on this. Winning mentality is one advantage Real Madrid have over many clubs. I have actually come to understand that phycology play a very important role in the success of every team. Take Jose Mourinho for instance, he has this special way of motivating the players when he was coaching Chelsea and also Inter Milan during the peak of his career. He knows how to bring out the best in his players and transform an average player to an exceptional one.

Real Madrid's away win yesterday was a wonderful achievement for them because I don't see how Leipzig will come and win Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu. I got so bored while watching the Leipzig - Real Madrid match honestly. But Brahim Diaz's amazing goal was really worth watching.    I wish Leipzig were also able to score which could have made the match more enjoyable to watch. If their goal in the first moments wasn't disallowed due to offside things could have been really interesting.

Real Madrid still won this match despite lacking really important players starting with Bellingham. I expect to see a more solid effort from them at Santiago Bernabeu to finish the job.

Leipzig really have the opportunity to beat real Madrid yesterday but they fumble and misuse the opportunities. The officiating was not too fair but that's not enough reason or excuse, they perform below expectations. The couch also has to be blame for the lose because he could have made the change in a timely manner but he still stubbornly stick to his strategy of making changes only beyond 70 minutes when things have been damaged beyond repair. It is very sad but Leipzig actually played well and they had plenty opportunity to score but were just unlucky totally. Nevertheless, there is still opportunity to turn things around in the second leg but I doubt if there'll be any different result in Santiago Bernabeu.

There's a reason the odds on Real winning were 2.3. At first it seemed to me that this is a lot and the odds should be 1.7 -1.9 because Real Madrid is stronger than Leipzig and also in great shape, but the game showed that the bookmakers were right in their assessment and the match was competitive and unlike the Manchester City match where everything became clear quickly, here Real had only one goal advantage and everything could have changed if Leipzig could have scored at least one goal.

I saw a lot of people picking Copenhagen to win City and I wonder why they took such risk, yes football is full of surprises but come on they're facing Manchester City, one of the best club in the world and currently the best team in the EPL. Maybe they thought because Copenhagen defeated their neighbours United and they could do same to United, lol to bad they lost their bet cause City showed Copenhagen who's boss and I believe they'll give them an embarrassing defeat when they come to the Etihad in the return leg.

 Well Copenhagen really tried in that match they're no match for City but they tried in  holding their ground in the 1st half by equalizing in the 34th mins after Debruyne's opener but in the 2nd half City became more dominant and add 2 more goals to end the game with a 1-3 in Copenhagen's ground. That's to tell you how strong the team is they're one of the most likely to win the tournament and I wonder why anyone would think they'll lose to Copenhagen.

In my opinion if the won against girona will be boosting the performance from the club a lot. Im concerning about how good the performance of real madrid is right now. Real madrid is still playing very well even without bellingham. This club was not the same like other club. Ancellotti has been building a special team that was not getting a lot of impact once it would be missing some players. Girona was not able beating manchester city. I think that if we have got the champion of la liga this season. There will be no club that can compete with rela madrid right now. Barcelona keeps struggle to beat the weak team and this proves that if real madrid will be obsolutely dominate the competition started from the middle to the end of season.

I didn't like the referee of the Leipzig - Real Madrid match at all. He just made many mistakes I think.

First of all we didn't even see semi-auto offside technology being used on Leipzig's cancelled goal in the first minutes. Just why?    After that the referee should have showed two yellow cards in total to Real Madrid and Leipzig players for the incidents he gave advantage for. I mean the incidents in the first half.

Apart from that I didn't like Real Madrid even a bit especially in the first half. Without Bellingham they are experiencing serious problems.

They got one final match some seasons ago and failed against Bayern Munich. Paris Saint-Germain's match against Real Sociedad will be more interesting to watch than the other match between Lazio and Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich vs Lazio is an interesting match because it can be a decisive match for Tuchel future in Bayern Munich. If Bayern Munich get a bad result from a first leg match, I am not quite sure that Tuchel will still be their coach in a second-leg match. Lazio is not a too strong team in Europe while Bayern Munich bought Harry Kane and aimed at winning Champions League.

A bad result against Lazio, after a shock defeat under Leverkusen, will force Tuchel more closely to an exit gate.

What a goal from Brahim Diaz and what a save from Andrey Lunin!

I wouldn't say this match was boring and even though only one goal was scored, both teams presented an exciting match. Both Leipzig and Real Madrid attacked each other and as hosts, Leipzig worked hard to break through Real Madrid's goal.

Leipzig created quite a few opportunities in this match and they often threatened Real Madrid's goal with dangerous attack schemes. But here Andrey Lunin showed his qualities as a good goalkeeper and managed to make 9 saves. Benjamin Sesko, Xavi Simons and Dani Olmo often bombarded Real Madrid's defense but the results were still to no avail. Brahim Diaz's solo run goal was spectacular and it seems Ancelotti was not wrong to pin his hopes on him. Now Real Madrid only have a slight lead on aggregate and in the second leg in March they must win again at home if they want to maintain their chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals.

This condition certainly makes Real Madrid step one foot forward. There is always a possibility that happens in leg 2. But with the conditions playing at the Bernabeu and the statistics of existing players, Madrid is the favorite to qualify for the next phase. The lone goal made Real Madrid comfortable for the second leg, even if Real Madrid had lost by a goal in the first leg I wouldn't have worried because they could have come back in the second leg but luckily Real Madrid won so they were a bit more relaxed.

Taking the bet was quite satisfied with the odds @ 2.25 because I said it was quite high.

Now PSG vs Real Sociedad is also an interesting match, a little doubtful about PSG because this team sometimes lacks passion but if the first leg is played at home then it can be an asset in the aggregate of goals later.
